Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is expected to miss the rest of the season after being diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis as well as bilateral pulmonary emboli. He is now on blood thinners.
Walt's take: I wrote this week that the Eagles have no hope with Tanner McKee in their backfield. However, they have far greater concerns with Jalen Hurts' blood clot. They won't be doing much winning for the rest of the year.

Caleb Williams is officially active for the Bears on Sunday after missing three games with a hamstring injury. He went 10-for-10 for 122 yards and a TD on his first two possessions.
Walt's take: I wrote in my power rankings this week that Caleb Williams can't get back on the field soon enough, and that I imagined he was going to miraculously feel better this week. Well, here we are. The Bears needed him after Tyson Bagent was so bad against the Packers that he was benched for Case Keenum, and Williams' expected return is why I didn't move Chicago down.

Colts TE Tyler Warren (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans. Warren injured his groin at the start of Friday practice.

Chargers OT Joe Alt, who has missed a couple of games with a neck injury, got good news after a visit to a specialist this week, sources say. Alt is expected to ramp up this week, with a return to the field coming.
