This is the 2015 NFL Combine Stock Report for the defensive linemen. Follow me @walterfootball for updates.

Vic Beasley, DE/OLB, Clemson
Vic Beasley had one of the best performances of the 2015 NFL Combine. He made some noise early by benching 35 reps despite being just 6-3, 246. He was even more impressive on the following day; he ran the fastest 40 of all the defensive linemen with a 4.53 and a 1.59 10-yard split. His vertical (41 inches), broad jump (10-10) and 3-cone time (6.91) were all fantastic, and he did not disappoint in the drills. And to top it off, Beasley was reportedly excellent in the interviews. There’s a very good chance now that Beasley will be a top-10 selection.

Malcom Brown, DT, Texas
Malcom Brown had a mostly positive showing at the NFL Combine, and I’d say he cemented his first-round status in the 2015 NFL Draft. Brown timed at 5.05, which was a solid time at his size (6-2, 319). He also looked good in the field drills, moving well with his athleticism. However, Brown had a poor time in the 3-cone drill (7.84), which is generally pretty important for determining future success.

Dante Fowler, DE, Florida
Dante Fowler could be the No. 3 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft if the Titans opt to select Leonard Williams. Fowler looked great in Indianapolis, posting a 4.60 40 and a 1.59 10-yard split. He was also fantastic in the field work. With Randy Gregory descending, Fowler might just be the first edge rusher off the board.

Markus Golden, DE/OLB, Missouri
Markus Golden didn’t do anything wrong in the field drills. His 40 time wasn’t very good (4.90), but he had a better 10-yard split (1.65) than many other players at his position. The reason Golden gets a down arrow is because of his arm length. His 31 1/8-inch arms could be a turn-off to some teams. It’s not a complete deal-breaker though, so he could still be chosen in the first round.

Eli Harold, DE/OLB, Virginia
Eli Harold was on the cusp of being a first-round prospect entering Indianapolis, and he may have secured his spot in the opening frame. Harold ran a 4.60 40 with a terrific 10-yard split of 1.56. He also looked good in the field drills, and he managed to clock in 7.07 in the 3-cone, which was one of the fastest times.

Randy Gregory, DE/OLB, Nebraska
The most significant measurement at the NFL Combine was Randy Gregory’s, as everyone was shocked that he weighed in at 6-5, 235. It was later revealed that Gregory was dealing with a stomach bug, but it may still have created some doubt as to whether or not he can play defensive end in the 4-3. He’s no longer the No. 1 edge-rusher in this class.

Owa Odighizuwa, DE/OLB, UCLA
Owa Ogighizuwa needed to show that he has the ability to play linebacker at the next level, and he did just that at the NFL Combine. He looked good in the linebacker drills, as his athleticism allowed him to drop smoothly into coverage. He’s still better in the 4-3, but the versatility will help him – as will the 4.62 40 he ran in Indianapolis.

Jordan Phillips, NT, Oklahoma
Jordan Phillips won’t be chosen before Danny Shelton, but he ran faster than the Washington product, both in the 40 (5.17) and the 10-yard split (1.84). Phillips showed well in the drills with his trademark explosion and power, and he looked very athletic for a 330-pound nose tackle. I currently have him going to the Packers in my 2015 NFL Mock Draft.
