This is the 2015 NFL Combine Stock Report for the wide receivers. Follow me @walterfootball for updates.

Chris Conley, WR, Georgia
Chris Conley didn’t have great production at Georgia – he caught 36 passes this past season – but what he did in Indianapolis will have scouts and general managers watching more film on him. Conley, at 6-2, 213, ran a 4.35 40 with a 1.53 split, some of the fastest numbers of any player at his position. He also notched a 45-inch vertical and an 11-7 broad jump. Perhaps Conley is just a great athlete, and not a real football player, but some team will give him a chance.

Jamison Crowder, WR, Duke
You don’t want to be small and slow when auditioning for NFL teams, but that’s exactly what Jamison Crowder is. Crowder, at 5-8, 185, ran a 4.56 40 at the Combine. That number isn’t nearly as bad as his 10-yard split, which was a dismal 1.71. Crowder, whose hands measured at just 8 3/4 inches, took a hit in Indianapolis.

Phillip Dorsett, WR, Miami
Phillip Dorsett was expected to perform well at the Combine, and he didn’t disappoint. He began by running a 4.33, which was the second-fastest 40 time by a receiver, only behind UAB’s J.J. Nelson. However, Dorsett is more than just a sprinter, as he showed off his nice hands in the drills. Dorsett’s jumps (10-2 broad; 37-inch vertical) also helped his cause to be a second-round prospect.

Devin Funchess, WR/TE, Michigan
Michigan’s former coaching staff came up with an incredibly moronic idea last summer: They decided to turn their star tight end into a receiver. Devin Funchess predictably struggled to separate from cornerbacks, which is why I always listed him as a tight end in my 2015 NFL Mock Draft. Funchess confirmed that he’ll have to stay at tight end with an ugly 4.70 40.

Ty Montgomery, WR, Stanford
Ty Montgomery scored on two special-teams touchdowns this past season, but teams may no longer be envisioning him as a return specialist after seeing him run a 4.55 40-yard dash. Montgomery didn’t exactly ruin his stock though; he wasn’t terrible in the drills, or anything, but he just didn’t stand out. He needed to after a mediocre 2014 campaign as a receiver in which he averaged less than 10 yards per reception.

Jaelen Strong, WR, Arizona State
Jaelen Strong was seen as a fringe first-round prospect entering the Combine, but he definitely helped his cause to be selected on Thursday. Strong displayed his tremendous athleticism in Indianapolis, running a 4.44 40-yard dash despite being 6-2, 217. His 10-yard split was even better (1.57). Strong also notched a 42-inch vertical and 10-3 broad jump. His hand size isn’t ideal (9 inches), but teams won’t care very much because of his unbelievable upside.

Darren Waller, WR, Georgia Tech
Some considered Darren Waller to be a third-day sleeper, but that’s not the case anymore because everyone now knows about him. Despite having a monstrous frame (6-6, 238), Waller ran a 4.46 40 with a 1.58 split. He also had a 10-5 broad jump and a 37-inch vertical. He’ll get plenty of chances in the NFL with those sorts of numbers.

Kevin White, WR, West Virginia
There was some debate as to who happened to be the No. 1 wide receiver in this class. Most ranked Amari Cooper at the top prior to this weekend, but Kevin White had some support. White is now the consensus top wideout in the wake of what occurred in Indianapolis. While Cooper did a good job and didn’t hurt himself, White was just unreal. He blazed a 4.35 40 with a 10-yard split of 1.55 despite his big body (6-3, 215). He was even better in the drills, looking very fluid and snatching everything in sight, including a great over-the-shoulder reception. White can now be safely mocked to the Raiders (No. 4) or Jets (No. 6).
