| The following chart comprises the weigh-in numbers for the linebackers at the 2013 NFL Draft Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. 40 Times: For the 40 times, I use both the official times and the NFL Network's unofficial times. I do this because the latter figures are more accurate. NFL teams use their own timed 40s anyway, so the official 40s are mostly meaningless. Sortable: All of these columns are now sortable. Just click on the header of each column. This is why I have all of the arms and hands listed in decimals. I'll be posting these LIVE so follow me @walterfootball for updates. |

Tyler Wilson will show off on the "board" and is a leader on the field. His biggest problem is his mechanics got sloppy last season without the Dark Lord Petrino guiding him. Supposedly Weinke has found a few flaws and has helped him gain more accuracy on longer throws. You'd fumble too not getting any better blocking than he did at Arkansas.

Walt, you knock past USC QBs for being too "Hollywood", now I'm not a fan of Barkley as a prospect, and Sanchez and Leinhart both suck imo. But what have these two QBs ever done at the NFL level that is "Hollywood" like? Nothing, and you know it. Please try and stick to the facts instead of throwing around broad generalizations.

Every QB this year especially Wilson, Nassib was overrated. After the combine, Barkley 7 makes sense, Geno 1 makes sense, and I wouldn't be surprised if E.J Manuel goes 18.
How does Geno Smith suck?

Not sure how you figure he disappointed at the combine... he was the fastest QB there (and roughly the same speed as Russel Wilson and Kaepernick) and his measurements were solid.

Could Marqeuis Gray be a starting NFL quarterback? I have never seen him play or even heard of him, but based on his 6'3 height, good split and 40 yard dash time, and above average hand size, could their be some potential with him? He also comes from a strong football conference which has produced lots of NFL quarterbacks (Big Ten)

How is Geno Smith not stock down? He proved yet again that he is just another overhyped Walter QB by measuring in lower in every category then projected.

Yet you took the time to post on the issue.
This is for the most part a football draft site...you know where conversation about football happens. Does the size matter, no, but it's interesting and it's better than watching hockey.

I always lol at quarterback hand measurements taken so seriously. If a guy has freakishly tiny hands I could understand, but it's not like Tyler Wilson had an unusual amount of fumbles compared to other quarterbacks with these "10 inch hands" that seem to get some scouts rock hard *cough Walter*. Same people who care about this are the same kind've of pervs who have foot fetishes. I personally have a 9.5" hand span and I can comfortably grip a football on a rainy day. I could do the same when I was teen with what were probably much smaller hands.
