NFL Week 17 Fantasy Football Rankings

To differentiate between all the "Start 'Ems" on my Fantasy Football Start Em, Sit Em page, you can check out the Weekly Fantasy Football Rankings, so you can figure out whom to start between Player X and Player Y.

Below are my fantasy QB rankings and a set of links for my positional Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings. Keep in mind that this list is for this week only; not the entire rest of the season. If you don't like my rankings, check out Chet's fantasy football rankings.

The rankings are based on a scoring system. Each player has Walterfootball.com's projected stats and standard scoring points.

But who do I start...

Updated - Follow @walterfootball for updates.
  1. Matthew Stafford, QB, Lions (vs. Packers)- 22 Points
330 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 30 Rushing Yards.
Matthew Stafford should be able to rebound against one of the league's worst secondaries.

  2. Cam Newton, QB, Panthers (at Falcons)- 22 Points
220 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 60 Rushing Yards.
The Falcons had issues stopping Jameis Winston two weeks ago, due to a lack of pressure.

  3. Tom Brady, QB, Patriots (vs. Jets)- 20 Points
360 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT.
Tom Brady's fantasy numbers haven't been great recently, but he's still worth starting in this matchup.

  4. Drew Brees, QB, Saints (at Buccaneers)- 20 Points
310 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs.
The Buccaneers have a horrible secondary, so Drew Brees should have a big game.

  5. Philip Rivers, QB, Chargers (vs. Raiders)- 19 Points
280 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs.
Oakland's secondary is a mess, so Philip Rivers should be able to post solid numbers.

  6. Kirk Cousins, QB, Redskins (at Giants)- 19 Points
310 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
The Giants could have a low-effort game, making Kirk Cousins mildly appealing.

  7. Russell Wilson, QB, Seahawks (vs. Cardinals)- 19 Points
220 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 50 Rushing Yards.
Arizona may not be able to score, but its defense is playing well, and it'll give Russell Wilson some issues.

  8. Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys (at Eagles)- 18 Points
260 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 40 Rushing Yards.
Dak Prescott could be going against backups, so that gives him a promising matchup.

  9. Marcus Mariota, QB, Titans (vs. Jaguars)- 18 Points
280 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.
Marcus Mariota could be seeing a backup defense this week.

  10. Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, 49ers (at Rams)- 17 Points
310 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 10 Rushing Yards.
Jimmy Garoppolo can be started against a low-effort Rams team for Week 17.

  11. Matt Ryan, QB, Falcons (vs. Panthers)- 17 Points
270 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Jameis Winston just threw all over the Panthers, so that bodes well for Matt Ryan's chances.

  12. Case Keenum, QB, Vikings (vs. Bears)- 17 Points
250 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.

  13. Tyrod Taylor, QB, Bills (at Dolphins)- 16 Points
230 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 50 Rushing Yards.

  14. Jameis Winston, QB, Bucs (vs. Saints)- 14 Points
270 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.
Jameis Winston would have a good outlook if this were the Saints of the past, but New Orleans has a strong defense now.

  15. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Chiefs (at Broncos)- 14 Points
220 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 40 Rushing Yards.
The Chiefs will sit their starters.

  16. Joe Flacco, QB, Ravens (vs. Bengals)- 14 Points
210 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT.

  17. Mitchell Trubisky, QB, Bears (at Vikings)- 13 Points
240 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.

  18. Blake Bortles, QB, Jaguars (at Titans)- 13 Points
220 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 30 Rushing Yards.
Blake Bortles could sit out this game.

  19. Derek Carr, QB, Raiders (at Chargers)- 13 Points
270 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Derek Carr has to go up against two great edge rushers without his two tackles, so that's not ideal.

  20. Andy Dalton, QB, Bengals (at Ravens)- 12 Points
200 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.

  21. Brock Osweiler, QB, Broncos (vs. Chiefs)- 12 Points
220 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.

  22. Jacoby Brissett, QB, Colts (vs. Texans)- 12 Points
190 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 30 Rushing Yards.

  23. Nick Foles, QB, Eagles (vs. Cowboys)- 12 Points
270 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.
Nick Foles may not play at all.

  24. DeShone Kizer, QB, Browns (at Steelers)- 11 Points
220 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 2 INTs, 40 Rushing Yards.

  25. Eli Manning, QB, Giants (vs. Redskins)- 11 Points
240 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.

  26. Drew Stanton, QB, Cardinals (at Seahawks)- 10 Points
220 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.

  27. Jay Cutler, QB, Dolphins (vs. Bills)- 10 Points
260 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 2 INTs.

  28. Brett Hundley, QB, Packers (at Lions)- 10 Points
150 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 2 INTs, 40 Rushing Yards.

  29. T.J. Yates, QB, Texans (at Colts)- 10 Points
210 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 2 INTs, 20 Rushing Yards.

  30. Landry Jones, QB, Steelers (vs. Browns)- 9 Points
190 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.
    Ben Roethlisberger is out.

  31. Bryce Petty, QB, Jets (at Patriots)- 8 Points
210 Passing Yards, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.

  32. Sean Mannion, QB, Rams (vs. 49ers)- 3 Points
    130 Passing Yards, 1 INT.
The Rams are reportedly sitting their starters.
