NFL Week 12 Fantasy Football Rankings

To differentiate between all the "Start 'Ems" on my Fantasy Football Start Em, Sit Em page, you can check out the Weekly Fantasy Football Rankings, so you can figure out whom to start between Player X and Player Y.

Below are my fantasy QB rankings and a set of links for my positional Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings. Keep in mind that this list is for this week only; not the entire rest of the season. If you don't like my rankings, check out Chet's fantasy football rankings.

The rankings are based on a scoring system. Each player has Walterfootball.com's projected stats and standard scoring points.

But who do I start...

Updated - Follow @walterfootball for updates.
  1. Tom Brady, QB, Patriots (vs. Dolphins)- 28 Points
400 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs.
Tom Brady could throw for three touchdowns blindfolded against the Dolphins.

  2. Carson Wentz, QB, Eagles (vs. Bears)- 27 Points
310 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 30 Rushing Yards.
Carson Wentz obviously needs to be started regardless, but he'll be the top quarterback of the week if Danny Trevathan is out again.

  3. Russell Wilson, QB, Seahawks (at 49ers)- 24 Points
290 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 50 Rushing Yards.
The 49ers have an atrocious defense that Russell Wilson will have his way with.

  4. Cam Newton, QB, Panthers (at Jets)- 23 Points
230 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 40 Rushing Yards.
Cam Newton's running alone makes him a viable fantasy starter. He should pass well against the Jets, too.

  5. Kirk Cousins, QB, Redskins (vs. Giants)- 20 Points
330 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
The Giants just shut down Kirk Cousins, but I doubt they'll have similar success against Kirk Cousins.

  6. Drew Brees, QB, Saints (at Rams)- 20 Points
320 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs.
The Rams have a tough defense, but it's difficult to see them keeping Drew Brees off the scoreboard.

  7. Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Steelers (vs. Packers)- 20 Points
300 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs.
Ben Roethlisberger hasn't been himself this year - until last Thursday. He finally awakened, and he should continue to torch the Packers.

  8. Matt Ryan, QB, Falcons (vs. Buccaneers)- 19 Points
300 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Matt Ryan has a nice matchup against the Buccaneers.

  9. Jared Goff, QB, Rams (vs. Saints)- 19 Points
310 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Kirk Cousins just threw all over the Saints, so I expect Jared Goff to have similar success.

  10. Philip Rivers, QB, Chargers (at Cowboys)- 17 Points
290 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT.
Dallas' defense obviously isn't the same without Sean Lee, so Philip Rivers should have a strong performance this week.

  11. Alex Smith, QB, Chiefs (vs. Bills)- 17 Points
260 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 30 Rushing Yards.

  12. Marcus Mariota, QB, Titans (at Colts)- 17 Points
250 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 50 Rushing Yards.
Marcus Mariota is running again, making him a solid fantasy options in most matchups, including this one.

  13. Brock Osweiler, QB, Broncos (at Raiders)- 16 Points
260 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT.

  14. Tyrod Taylor, QB, Bills (at Chiefs)- 15 Points
220 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 40 Rushing Yards.

  15. Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys (vs. Chargers)- 15 Points
220 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 50 Rushing Yards.
Dallas' offensive line can't pass protect, and Dak Prescott is struggling as a consequence.

  16. Case Keenum, QB, Vikings (at Lions)- 15 Points
280 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.
Case Keenum took advantage of the Rams when they lost Kayvon Webster. He could have some trouble on the road in Detroit.

  17. Matthew Stafford, QB, Lions (vs. Vikings)- 14 Points
270 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.
Matthew Stafford didn't have a solid fantasy performance against the Vikings the first time he played them, but I expect him to do better at home.

  18. Andy Dalton, QB, Bengals (vs. Browns)- 13 Points
240 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.

  19. Jacoby Brissett, QB, Colts (vs. Titans)- 13 Points
210 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 30 Rushing Yards.

  20. Josh McCown, QB, Jets (vs. Panthers)- 13 Points
240 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 10 Rushing Yards.

  21. Derek Carr, QB, Raiders (vs. Broncos)- 13 Points
260 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Derek Carr struggled versus the Patriots, and now he plays an even better defense.

  22. Mitchell Trubisky, QB, Bears (at Eagles)- 12 Points
260 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 2 INTs, 20 Rushing Yards.

  23. Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, Bucs (at Falcons)- 12 Points
260 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.
    Jameis Winston is out.

  24. Eli Manning, QB, Giants (at Redskins)- 12 Points
260 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.

  25. Blake Bortles, QB, Jaguars (at Cardinals)- 12 Points
190 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 30 Rushing Yards.

  26. Brett Hundley, QB, Packers (at Steelers)- 12 Points
180 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 30 Rushing Yards.

  27. Jay Cutler, QB, Dolphins (at Patriots)- 11 Points
290 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 2 INTs.

  28. Joe Flacco, QB, Ravens (vs. Texans)- 11 Points
240 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.

  29. DeShone Kizer, QB, Browns (at Bengals)- 10 Points
270 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 3 INTs, 30 Rushing Yards.

  30. Tom Savage, QB, Texans (at Ravens)- 10 Points
220 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.

  31. C.J. Beathard, QB, 49ers (vs. Seahawks)- 9 Points
190 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.

  32. Blaine Gabbert, QB, Cardinals (vs. Jaguars)- 8 Points
170 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.
