How does Andy Reid look like a Walrus? Since being the coach and arriving in philadelphia Andy Reid has went above and beyond what a Walrus should do. He helped with charities he competed in the water with children the day after landing! He wasn't under contract was required to do any of that but he did. He made it a point to tell his fellow Walrus' to get his deal done so he could be on land day 1. He stays after practice every day almost signing autographs as the first Walrus coach in the NFL and he is the last Walrus to leave the field. Did u watch the game vs the ravens? He didn't look all world but, he looked far from the average walrus. The firat thing he talked about after the game was watching fish and getting better. Plz know the walrus and stop taking what the media states as fact.

the saints are crap on defense with the exception of there dline
the falcons are a great team though and they are going to do great things this year
however cam newton is going to continue the trend of 1st round quarterbacks being successful and combine that with a great oline and run game, good secondary with a great pass rushing end, excellent linebackers, all this team needs is an improved run defense and a young reciever to step up.

Probably the toughest division in the whole league to predict. Any of the 3 top teams (Saints, Bucs, Falcons) could win the division. I think the Saints will finish 1st in the division, they are loaded with talent on both sides of the ball and have made some great FA moves. I'm saying the bucs come in 2nd, they won 10 games and were loaded with rookies. Also Freeman is gonna continue his growth into the one of the league's best qb's, his skill-set has never been seen before. Atl will be 3rd, they have upgraded at receiver but some of their other positions (oline, rb, db and lb) took hits in the offseason. All 3 of these teams will win 10 games and atleast 2 will make the playoffs.

I seriously see only one playoff team coming from this division Saints versus Falcons... dont get me wrong i think the bucs are an up and coming team but i think they have a down year...

after this year i say the saints go back to being irrelevant :)

I'm a Bucs fan so the fan in me picks them to win the South. Being a realist they probably won't, but could. They improved a lot of the positions they needed to improve upon. The only problem is they filled some with rookies, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but with the shortened offseason it'll be hard for them to get in the swing of things until later on in the year. The Saints are probably the best all around team in the division and only got better with a great draft and FA period. They'll most likely win the position. The Falcons aren't explosive enough. Julio Jones is a good pick, but he does drop a lot of balls. He at least gives Matt Ryan another weapon so he can finally stretch the field. The Panthers have some work to do. Cam Newton looks like the second coming of JaMarcus Russell but for some reason they felt obligated to take a chance on him. At least he won't break the bank if he doesn't pan out, but it'd be a wast of a No.1 overall pick. Anyway you can't get much worse than Jimmy Clausen, so I commend the Panthers on trying to find a replacement. They did manage to get pretty much all their key players back with the exception of Richard Marshall, so that's good. I think the future's bright for the Panthers, and it'd be hard for Cam Newton to suck since he has all these new toys to work with on offense. I say:

Bucs are completely overrated. Two wins against teams with winning records and an injury prone defense, especially the D-line? Sorry, I don't see them competing for the division.

I see a slugfest between the Falcons and Saints. Both have chips on their shoulders after huge playoff disappointments and are similar on paper. In the end, I get the feeling it will come down to the Week 16 matchup which I just have an inkling that the Falcons will manage to squeak out a win.

Saints win this division easy. Panthers have no shot Obviously. The bucs have the best shot at giving the saints a run for their money, but theyre tough schedule and lack of veteran leadership will keep them from the division crowd. They will take a wild card spot though. The falcons just plain out suck. Im sick of them constantly being overrated. They have no safeties, michael turner cant carry the load, matt ryan will never win in the playoffs, and they flat out choke in big games. No team in this division has near the amount of talent the Saints possess, because new orleans is loaded and experienced at every position
