Cams got alotta upside. Is he a sure thing? No one in any NFL draft is. These are all just kids who've never played an NFL down. When you compare Cam to only black quarterbacks and make snide comments about him eventually ending up in prison... thats mad rascist. I think Cam needs a lot of work, and any team that picks him would be wise to sit him for many games, regardless of where you draft him. The decision making is there, but sometimes his throws are off. Sometimes he panics with the rush, but this is all fixable. He reminds me a lot of Jay Cutler.

Everything is there, but he's a little raw.

I find it hard to disagree with the majority of NFL scouts, Franchize. They don't get paid for nothing.

Hey Walter, it looks like the idiots from the many gamecenters have made it onto your site. Guess what non-football watching morons, Newton is terrible. His accuracy is ridiculously bad, his footwork is poor, his mechanics are below average and his decision making is horrible. Newton is not good, he is only the #1 QB in this draft by default because this class is so terrible. Andrew Luck would have made him look like a child had he declared.

Newton compares to Vince Young, a winner in college who thinks that athletic ability is enough, the only way he plays in the NFL is if he has a dumbed down version of an offense like Young had in Tennessee. One read and run? LMAO I feel sorry for what ever team drafts this flaming bust.

cam newton is never going to be spectacular, but he will be solid. all year i doubted him, mostly because hes dumb as a box of rocks, but he has that "try hard" ability most other players never develop

I served Cam at a spot i bartend at in south Florida. He was very polite and a good tipper. He's also a winner, leader and tough guy who litterally ran over SEC defenders on a regular basis. He's the perfect QB as far as physique and arm strength is concerned. Everything else can be coached up. Most of the negative comments are embarrasingly racist.

Cam newton can't be compared to Russel come on now. Russel was the worst player ive ever watched but what i think the raiders should have done is reworked his contract for less money let him keep gaining weight and put him as a guard!
