Summary: Corey Liuget ended his collegiate career a year early and went out on a high note with an impressive showing in the Texas Bowl. He was used in multiple spots on the Illinois line which is a valuable asset heading into the 2011 NFL Draft. His best fit appears to be a penetrating tackle in a 4-3 front.
Player Comparison: Sedrick Ellis. I see no good reason to sway from this common comparison. Their frames are similar and both have balanced pass rush and run defense skills. When Ellis came out of USC he was considered a possible 3-4 nose tackle and Liuget carries the same potential.
Has anyone seen the d3 kid out of Minot State. ,46 plus yards per punt, multiple over 70 yards while running for his life. Aaron Ladeaux, played on a team that couldn't protect him. Dark horse, but a real talent.
