NFL Week 7 Fantasy Football Rankings

To differentiate between all the "Start 'Ems" on my Fantasy Football Start Em, Sit Em page, you can check out the Weekly Fantasy Football Rankings, so you can figure out whom to start between Player X and Player Y.

Below are my fantasy TE rankings and a set of links for my positional Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings. Keep in mind that this list is for this week only; not the entire rest of the season. If you don't like my rankings, check out Chet's fantasy football rankings.

The rankings are based on a Traditional scoring system. Each player has Walterfootball.com's projected stats and standard scoring points.

But who do I start...

Updated - Follow @walterfootball for updates.
  1. Travis Kelce, TE, Chiefs (vs. Bengals)- 14 Points
    6 Catches, 80 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Vance McDonald killed the Bengals, so Travis Kelce should rebound.

  2. David Njoku, TE, Browns (at Bucs)- 13 Points
    5 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Tight ends have killed the Buccaneers all year.

  3. Evan Engram, TE, Giants (at Falcons)- 13 Points
    5 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
The Falcons can't defend tight ends at all, so Evan Engram is a top option this week.

  4. Eric Ebron, TE, Colts (vs. Bills)- 12 Points
    4 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Eric Ebron has become Andrew Luck's go-to target.

  5. Rob Gronkowski, TE, Patriots (at Bears)- 11 Points
    3 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Rob Gronkowski is clearly not the same, and he has a tough matchup this week.

  6. Jordan Reed, TE, Redskins (vs. Cowboys)- 11 Points
    4 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
The Cowboys can't defend tight ends without Sean Lee, so his status will be huge for Jordan Reed's outlook.

  7. Zach Ertz, TE, Eagles (vs. Panthers)- 10 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
The Panthers are great versus tight ends because of their stellar linebackers.

  8. O.J. Howard, TE, Bucs (vs. Browns)- 8 Points
    6 Catches, 80 Receiving Yards.
Star linebacker Joe Schobert could be out, which would mean good things for O.J. Howard's matchup.

  9. George Kittle, TE, 49ers (vs. Rams)- 7 Points
    5 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards.
George Kittle is no longer a consistent fantasy option with Jimmy Garoppolo out. He has a decent matchup here though.

  10. C.J. Uzomah, TE, Bengals (at Chiefs)- 7 Points
    5 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards.

  11. Ricky Seals-Jones, TE, Cardinals (vs. Broncos)- 6 Points
    4 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards.

  12. Kyle Rudolph, TE, Vikings (at Jets)- 6 Points
    4 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards.
Kyle Rudolph has just a middling matchup this week.

  13. Trey Burton, TE, Bears (vs. Patriots)- 5 Points
    3 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.
The Patriots were just able to take away Travis Kelce, so they could do the same with Trey Burton.

  14. Dallas Goedert, TE, Eagles (vs. Panthers)- 5 Points
    3 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.

  15. Greg Olsen, TE, Panthers (at Eagles)- 5 Points
    3 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.
Greg Olsen will play, but I'd stay away until he proves that he's healthy.

  16. Jack Doyle, TE, Colts (vs. Bills)- 4 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.
    Status unknown.

  17. Austin Hooper, TE, Falcons (vs. Giants)- 4 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.
The Giants haven't been able to defend tight ends for years.

  18. Chris Herndon, TE, Jets (vs. Vikings)- 4 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.

  19. Ben Watson, TE, Saints (at Ravens)- 4 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.

  20. Charles Clay, TE, Bills (at Colts)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  21. Jeff Heuerman, TE, Broncos (at Cardinals)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  22. Cameron Brate, TE, Bucs (vs. Browns)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  23. Antonio Gates, TE, Chargers (vs. Titans)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  24. Geoff Swaim, TE, Cowboys (at Redskins)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  25. Hayden Hurst, TE, Ravens (vs. Saints)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  26. Vernon Davis, TE, Redskins (vs. Cowboys)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  27. Mike Gesicki, TE, Dolphins (vs. Lions)- 2 Points
    2 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  28. James O'Shaughnessy, TE, Jaguars (vs. Texans)- 2 Points
    2 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  29. Gerald Everett, TE, Rams (at 49ers)- 2 Points
    2 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  30. Tyler Higbee, TE, Rams (at 49ers)- 2 Points
    2 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  31. Ryan Griffin, TE, Texans (at Jaguars)- 2 Points
    2 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  32. Jonnu Smith, TE, Titans (at Chargers)- 2 Points
    2 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  33. Tyler Kroft, TE, Bengals (at Chiefs)- 1 Points
    1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards.
    Status unknown.

  34. Blake Jarwin, TE, Cowboys (at Redskins)- 1 Points
    1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards.

  35. Luke Willson, TE, Lions (at Dolphins)- 1 Points
    1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards.

  36. Ian Thomas, TE, Panthers (at Eagles)- 1 Points
    1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards.

  39. Jared Cook, TE, Raiders (vs. BYE)- 0 Points

  40. Nick Vannett, TE, Seahawks (vs. BYE)- 0 Points
