  1. Michael Dickson*, P, Texas
    Height: 6-3. Weight: 205.
    Projected Round (2018): 4-6.

4/26/18: Dickson won the Ray Guy Award in 2017 as the best punter in the nation. He averaged 47.4 yards per punt on the year, recording a long of 76 yards. As a sophomore, Dickson averaged 47.4 yards per punt with a long of 74 yards. He averaged 41.3 yards per punt with a long of 63 in 2015. The Australia native has a very powerful leg and could be a mid-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, a high selection for a punter.

  2. Johnny Townsend, P, Florida
    Height: 6-1. Weight: 210.
    Projected Round (2018): 5-7.

4/26/18: Townsend punted well during the 2017 season, averaging 47.5 yards per punt with a long of 70. In many drafts, Townsend would be the top punter, but a rare prospect like Michael Dickson makes Townsend to likely be the second punter selected.

7/24/17: Townsend was excellent as a junior, averaging 47.9 yards per punt with a long of 62. He was so good, that some NFL teams were doing scouting reports on him because there was consideration that he might declare early for the 2017 NFL Draft. Florida’s offense struggled, but Townsend helped the Gators play field position with his booming punts to help his defense. In 2015, Townsend had a quality season for Florida as he averaged 45.4 yards per punt with a long of 61. He averaged 42 yards per punt in 2013 and redshirted in 2014.

  3. J.K. Scott, P, Alabama
    Height: 6-5. Weight: 195.
    Projected Round (2018): 6-FA.

4/26/18: Scott averaged 43 yards per punt in 2017 with a long of 64.

7/24/17: Scott punted well in 2016 for the Crimson Tide with an average of 47.2 yards per punt with a long of 66 yards. He was superb as a freshman for Alabama in 2014, averaging a booming 48 yards per punt with a long of 73 yards. It turned out to be the best season ever for a punter in Alabama school history. Scott dropped 56 percent of his punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line (31-for-55) that season. He was a First-Team All-SEC selection and finalist for the Ray Guy Award. Scott wasn’t as good as a sophomore in 2015, averaging of 44 yards and recording a long of 59 yards.

  4. Will Gleeson, P, Ole Miss
    Height: 6-3. Weight: 190.
    Projected Round (2018): 6-FA.

4/26/18: Gleeson’s averaged 41.5 yards per punt with a long of 56. The Australian is an interesting punter as he uses both legs. One side is for shorter, pinning punts. The other is for long distance.

7/24/17: In 2016, Gleeson averaged 44.1 yards per punt with a long of 60 yards. He had a strong debut for the Rebels in 2014 as he averaged 43 yards per punt with a long of 70 yards. In 2015, Gleeson averaged 41 yards per punt.

  5. Shane Tripucka, P, Texas A&M
    Height: 6-3. Weight: 220.
    Projected Round (2018): 6-FA.

4/26/18: Tripucka averaged 45.5 yards per punt in 2017 with a long of 64 yards that he hit twice. It was his third solid season for the Aggies. He averaged 42.9 yards per punt in 2016 and 44 yards per punt in 2015.

  6. Trevor Daniel, P, Tennessee
    Height: 6-1. Weight: 248.
    Projected Round (2018): 6-FA.

4/26/18: Daniel averaged 47.5 yards per punt in 2017 and notched a long of 72 yards.

7/24/17: Daniel had an impressive debut for the Volunteers in 2015 as he averaged 45.7 yards per punt with a long of 61 yards. In 2016, Daniel averaged 44.6 yards per punt with a long of 70.

  7. Joseph Davidson, P, Bowling Green
    Height: 6-7. Weight: 228.
    Projected Round (2018): 7-FA.

4/26/18: Davidson made a long punt of 65 yards in 2017 and had a season average of 44.2 yards per punt.

7/24/17: Davidson averaged 45.8 yards per punt with a long of 82 in the 2016 season. He also was impressive in 2015, when he averaged 46 yards per punt with a long of 73.
