Benchx225: 31. Vertical: 36.5.
Projected Round (2010): 5-6.

3/10/10: Ran a solid 4.55 at his Pro Day. He should be a situational pass-rusher in the NFL.

1/22/10: Finished his senior season with 11 TFL and 8.5 sacks.

11/14/09: A transfer from Minnesota, Alex Daniels has seven TFL and 5.5 sacks in nine contests.

Height: 6-0. Weight: 187.
Projected 40 Time: 4.45.
Combine 40 Time: 4.56.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.47.
Vertical: 39. Broad: .
Projected Round (2010): 2-3.

3/10/10: Mardy Gilyard improved his 40 time to 4.47 at his Pro Day. But be wary of shady Pro Day times.

1/19/10: Mardy Gilyard notched 87 receptions, 1,191 yards and 11 touchdowns in a pass-friendly offense. He also maintained a very impressive 12.6 average on punt returns (scoring once).

10/10/09: Mardy Gilyard has 38 catches for 517 yards and seven touchdowns through five games. Remember that these numbers are a byproduct of an offense that doesn’t translate to the NFL.

2/7/09: Marshwan Gilyward emerged as an explosive weapon in Cincinnati’s high-octane spread offense. He caught 81 passes for 1,276 yards and 11 touchdowns despite not having his starting quarterback for a few games.

Ricardo Mathews, DT, Cincinnati
Height: 6-2. Weight: 290.
Projected 40 Time: 4.94.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.80.
Benchx225: 26. Vertical: 31.5.
Projected Round (2010): 6-7.

1/24/10: A one-year starter, Ricardo Mathews made the All-Big East Second Team. He finished the year with 12.5 TFL and 3.5 sacks.

11/28/09: One of the “unknowns” who stepped up for Cincinnati this year, Ricardo Mathews has 36 tackles, 9.5 TFL and 3.5 sacks in 2009.

Aaron Webster, FS, Cincinnati
Height: 6-1. Weight: 207.
Projected 40 Time: 4.56.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.48.
Benchx225: 21. Vertical: 33.5.
Projected Round (2010): 6-7.

3/10/10: Aaron Webster ran an impressive 4.48 40 at his Pro Day, but Cincinnati’s 40 times seemed a bit too fast on Wednesday.

1/14/10: Qualifying for the All-Big East First Team, Aaron Webster collected 69 tackles, four interceptions and five pass deflections.

Kentucky

Micah Johnson, ILB, Kentucky Scouting Report
Height: 6-2. Weight: 256.
Projected 40 Time: 4.71.
Combine 40 Time: 4.99.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.84.
Benchx225: 31. Vertical: .
Projected Round (2010): 5-6.

3/10/10: After a disgraceful 4.99 at the Combine, Micah Johnson ran an improved 4.84 at his Pro Day, which is still too slow.

1/8/10: Micah Johnson will miss the postseason bowls and may even be absent for the combine because of a knee injury. Johnson had 105 tackles and 6.5 TFL in 2009.

2/19/09: As one of the leaders of the Wildcats, Micah Johnson recorded 93 tackles, 13 TFL, 2.5 sacks and two passes broken up as a junior. He was on the All-SEC First Team.

8/3/08: Micah Johnson has just one career start under his belt, but he was productive last season in relief. Johnson had 58 tackles, five pass break-ups and two interceptions.

Trevard Lindley, CB, Kentucky – Scouting Report
Height: 5-11. Weight: 183.
Projected 40 Time: 4.46.
Combine 40 Time: 4.53.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.50.
Benchx225: 9. Vertical: 38.
Projected Round (2010): 5-6.

1/31/10: Mardy Gilyard embarrassed Trevard Lindley in coverage. Lindley’s stock has plummeted.

1/28/10: Having a very weak Senior Bowl, and could completely kill his stock with a weak 40 at the Combine. Details available in the 2010 Senior Bowl section.

1/9/10: Trevard Lindley really struggled at the beginning of the season with an ankle injury, but really picked things up at the end of the year when he finally got healthy.

12/13/08: An All-SEC First Team qualifier, Trevard Lindley had 37 tackles, 11 passes broken up, four interceptions and a pick-six. There’s a good chance he’ll make the first round this April, so it would benefit him to come out early.

2007: Trevard Lindley seems to make all the plays. He was a major contributor in Kentucky’s two upset victories over Louisville and Arkansas.
