2017-18 Team Salary: Approximately $126.7 million

NBA Offseason Team Needs:

1. Find Another Star?: Jimmy Butler? Paul George? Someone else? Rumors are floating around that the Cavaliers are trying to add another All-Star caliber player to put themselves in a better position to compete with the Warriors next year. Unless Cleveland is willing to part ways with Kevin Love, the club doesn’t have many tradable assets, which will make it difficult to find a star player.

2. Fill Out Their Roster: Like they deal with every summer, the Cavaliers must do some bargain shopping to bring in some veterans to add depth across their roster. They have capitalized late in the season by adding experienced players, which they did this past year with Kyle Korver and Deron Williams. Overall, Cleveland’s bench play needs to improve.
