Doug Martin - Boise State. This guy is going to emerge as the best value RB in this class In my personal opinion. He's built just like Trent Richardson, size/ strength/ speed, vision, instincts etc.. I'm not saying he'll wind up being better than Richardson, but as we have all learned by now, RB's shelf life in the NFL seems to be 4-5 years if that, and you turn into a shell of your former self with all the pounding you take. So to be able to get a Doug Martin potentially in the late 2nd, versus a probable top 10 pick, valuewise, I would want Martin anyday.

Didn't know Edwin Baker played the position "Michigan State", went to the school of "5-8", ran a 1.59 40, and did 35 bench press reps! I wonder how many cartwheels Al Davis has done in his grave already.

Alvester Alexander ran a 4.38 40 and tested very well in all other drills at Wyoming's Pro Day.
The Jr. Alexander defiantly has to be one of the fastest backs in this years draft.

Bernard Pierce ran a 4.34 40 and looked incredible in almost every drill at the Temple Pro Day.
He was especially good in the passing drills with a diving finger tip catch that was NFL receiver-worthy. Pierce ran fast at the combine as well (4.45) but no one expected it at the time. His pro day seemed to confirm his combine.

I happened to be at 3 pro days this past monday; Rice, UH, and Tsu. I saw a few guys that stood out. One in particular. Martin Gilbert @ Tsu. @ 5'7 202, he showed alot. He jumped a 35' vertical. He put up 225 25 times, and also ran a 4.44 40. And has great film to back it up. Mike Hayes(UH) also showed great speed with a 4.55 40 and 23 reps on bench. But Gilbert stole the show.
