Here is a recap of the player interviews that were conducted on the field after Wednesday's practice by the East team. Typically, these interviews with area scouts are to set up longer, formal interviews at night. While teams say they "talk" to every player, teams do not take the time to conduct formal interviews with every draft prospect, so this can be a clue as to which players are on their radar.
Wednesday was the final day for the vast majority scouts in St. Petersburg. Many were leaving town after the afternoon practice, and as result, there were fewer on-field interviews on Wednesday compared to the first two days of the East-West Shrine practices.
Atlanta - Temple running back Montel Harris
Chicago - Florida safety Josh Evans
Denver - South Florida cornerback Kayvon Webster
Indianapolis - Pittsburgh running back Ray Graham
Minnesota - South Florida linebacker Sam Barrington
New Orleans - Army wide receiver Trent Steelman
New York Giants - Army wide receiver Trent Steelman
Philadelphia - South Carolina center T.J. Johnson
San Diego - Virginia Tech wide receiver Marcus Davis
St. Louis - James Madison tackle Earl Watford, Louisiana-Lafayette Melvin White
@RB#20 I disagree. They were very soft against the run to end the season, and Haloti Ngata is not anybody's solution right now. Walker is walking. Good thing Charles is still around. They need some pass rush, for sure, but i wouldn't be surprised at all to see them take a DT in the 1st if they don't like the DEs still there. They probably want a tweener who can play inside and outside, that might help patch some problems.
