The Matchups: The best draft matchups in this game will be Alabama wide receivers Jameson Williams and John Metchie going against Auburn cornerback Roger McCreary. Those are battles of future pro players, and McCreary will see his toughest speed test of the year with Williams. Tigers linebacker Zakoby McClain will be challenged by Alabama's Brian Robinson who could be the top running back prospect for the 2022 NFL Draft.

    • LSU G Ed Ingram, No. 70
    • LSU LB Micah Baskerville, No. 23
    • LSU RT Austin Deculus, No. 76
    • LSU FS Todd Harris, No. 4
    • LSU DT Neil Farrell, No. 92
    • LSU C Liam Shanahan, No. 56

The Matchups: LSU's Damone Clark could be the top linebacker prospect for the 2022 NFL Draft, and he is going to see a tough test versus the Aggies. His run defense will be challenged by Texas A&M's tough offensive line, which is led by future NFL starters at guard in Kenyon Green, and running back in Isaiah Spiller. Clark also could be called on in pass coverage to help defend Jalen Wydermyer. If Clark does well in this game, it could help him to be a mid- to high first-rounder next April.

When the Tigers have the ball, there will be a good draft matchup with LSU guards Chasen Hines and Ed Ingram taking on Texas A&M defensive end tackle DeMarvin Leal. Leal is a dangerous interior pass rusher who will be a good test for the LSU guards. All three of those players could be NFL starters next fall.

    Game Recap Analysis

    The Prospects:
      Ohio State
    • WR Garrett Wilson, No. 5

    • OT Nicolas Petit-Frere, No. 78
    • CB Sevyn Banks, No. 7

    • NT Jerron Cage, No. 86
    • LB Dallas Gant, No. 19
    • CB Marcus Williamson
    • DE Tyler Friday, No. 54
    • DT Antwuan Jackson, No. 52
    • CB Demario McCall, No. 1
    • LB Teradja Mitchell, No. 3
    • DE Zach Harrison, No. 9

      Michigan
    • DE Aidan Hutchinson, No. 97
    • SS Brad Hawkins, No. 2
    • OLB Joshua Ross, No. 12
    • OT Andrew Stueber, No. 71
    • P Brad Robbins, No. 91
    • WR Ronnie Bell, No. 8
    • NT Donovan Jeter, 95

The Matchups: The best draft matchup in this game is Wolverines defensive end Aidan Hutchinson taking on Buckeyes left tackle Nicolas Petit-Frere. Hutchinson has been superb in 2021, so it would really help Petit-Frere if he can hold Hutchinson in check. Michigan has some young defensive back talent that will see an elite receiving duo in Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave.
