Gxd333's Published Draft Mocks

NFL 2021

  1. The Source view
I run my mock draft like I am the GM of each team. Do succeed in the NFL you need a stud QB, pass defense, pass rush, pass protection, and playmakers in that order. It is ONLY worth it to trade multiple picks for a franchise QB, no other position is worth it.

NBA 2020

  1. Camping 101 view
The NBA is all about finding stars, you need 2-3 superstars to have a chance at the title. You draft them regardless of position. After that shooting, versatility, passing and defense matter most.
  2. Is the season really over? view
I run my mock drafts like I am the General Manager of each team. In the NBA you need at least 2 superstars to make a title run, 3 is better. I prefer to build from the draft as trading away assets doesn't always work unless it's a sure fire stud. Shooting and versatility are the keys in today's NBA.
  3. 2020 NBA Mock Draft by Gxd333 - 6.26 view
The NBA is all about star power. You need two to win a Championship but 3 is better. Versatility is the name of the game for today's NBA along with shooting.
  4. ?? Summer view
I run my mock drafts like I am the GM of each team. In the NBA you need 2 superstars but 3 is better. Shooting is a primo quality that I look for along with versatility. I am willing to trade pickes for sure fire stars. At the same time other GMs trade away low picks for veterans when they have a playoff team. I think this is a bad idea as you ALWAYS want to be developing young talent. An organization that can take picks in the 20s to 2nd round and get maximum contributions from them are the cream of the crop.

  6. The Green Marlie Machine view
I run my mock drafts like I am the General Manager of each team. In the NBA you need 2 or 3 superstars to win a championship. Shooters, versatility, and defense follow after that. It is worth it to trade for a sure fire star in the NBA.

NFL 2020

  1. Smoothy King Delight view
I run my Mock Drafts as if I was the General Manager of each team. In the NFL it's all about having a Quarterback, then pass rush, pass defense, pass protection and then drafting the best available player regardless of need.
  2. Strawberry Milkshake view
As always with my mock drafts I run them as if I was the GM of each team making the pick. In the NFL it's all about getting a franchise QB and then drafting the best available players while at the same time not reaching or trading up. Rally is a player worth multiple picks. Draft order is by conference and division. I like to change up the order to create some new scenarios.
  3. Inversion Table Love view
In my mock drafts I act like I am the GM of each team. In the NFL it's all about having a franchise QB, protecting the QB, rushing the QB, and pass defense. You also can't reach as rarely is a player worth multiple draft picks unless they are a Hall Fame player.
  4. Black Friday Boycott view
I run my mock drafts like I am the GM of each team. In the NFL it's about having a franchise QB, CB's, pass rushers, and protecting the QB. It's never worth it to reach for a prospect unless it's a surefire All Pro.
  5. 2020 NFL Mock Draft by Gxd333 - 1.8 view
I run my mock drafts like the GM of each team. The most important thing in the NFL is QB, pass rush, secondary, and protecting the QB in that order. You only trade up for a franchise QB and drafting the best player available is better than reaching.
  6. After Super Bowl Hangover view
As always, I run my mock drafts like I am the GM of each team. My priorities are QB, pass rush, DB's, protecting the QB and do it all fast LB's. I will never mortgage my future for one guy unless it's a sure fire franchise QB. Reaching is never worth it. Drafting best available player is always a good choice.
  7. Dance Club Remix view
Let's have some fun. I run my mock drafts like I am the GM of each team. My priorities are: QB, DB, edge rusher, OL and do it all linebackers. I am not going to waste draft capital unless it's a bona fide stud. I also don't reach for a need but instead I draft the best player available (BPA).
  8. New Vision And Free Agency thoughts view
I run my mock drafts like I am in charge of each team and this is what I would do. I have some new insights as I have been studying the NFL that will impact this mock. My priorities are: QB, defensive coverage skills, WR, OL, and pass rushers. I don’t want to reach for a player because taking the best available player (BPA) is always the best option. I will trade up or pay big $ for franchise QB’s. I Will also sure some free agency thoughts.
  9. Home Lock down view
I run my mock drafts like I am the General Manager for each team. My priorities are QB, pass coverage, playmakers, pass rush, and pass protection. I am only willing to go big for franchise QB's. I never want to reach because the best player available (BPA) is always a good approach.
  10. Cheesecake Bliss view
I run my mock drafts like I am the General Manager of each team. My priorities are QB, pass coverage, playmakers, pass protection and pass rush. I am only willing to trade up for QB or sure fire all stars. Otherwise drafting the best available player (BPA) makes more sense.
  11. Covid 19 Apocalypse view
I run my mock drafts like I am the General Manager of each team. My priorities are QB, pass coverage, pass protection, and then playmakers. I have made a few changes to my big board and will change a few picks to make it interesting as we lead up to the draft.
  12. Noon Wake Up view
I run my mock drafts like I am the General Manager of each team. My priorities are QB, pass coverage, pass protection, and playmakers. I only want to give up extra draft capital for franchise QB's. I am okay drafting the Best Player Available (BPA) over reaching for a need.
  13. 2020 NFL Draft Grades view
NFL success is built on these priorities: QB, pass coverage, pass protection, playmakers and pass rush. RB's and DT's just don't have much value. You should never surrender major draft capital for anything other than a potential franchise QB.

NBA 2019

  1. GXD333 view
The NBA draft is WAY different than the NFL draft. It's not really about positions as much as having 2-3 all stars and filling your roster after that. Upside is more important as well because players are so much younger so you are banking on continued development verses production.
  2. Love Your Heart! view
Love your heart people, life is too short to live without purpose! The NBA draft is WAY different than the NFL draft. Potential is so much more of a factor because NBA prospects are younger with lottery picks usually being 19-20 year olds. In the positionless NBA versatility and shooting are more important than ever.
  3. Summer body Zizzle view
Now that they draft lottery is done we can make a real mock draft. I run my mock drafts as if I was the GM of each team. This is what I would do.
  4. My Dog is Crazy! view
Updated for trades on 6/20. I run my mock drafts like I am the GM of each team. In the NBA it's all about finding superstars. You need 2 to 3 of them to win a championship.

NFL 2019

It's all about the QB and best available player. I run my mock drafts as if I was the GM for each team.
  2. Smitty's World view
Same as always, you have to have an elite QB to be successful and then it's about the best player available (BPA)
  3. Steak 4 Breakfast view
It's all about getting an elite QB and drafting the best player available. I run my mock drafts as if I was the GM for each team.
  4. Smitty's World Loves Texas view
As always, it's about getting a franchise quarterback and then drafting the best player available anywhere you don't have a Pro Bowler. I run my mock's as if I was the GM of each team.
  5. Razor Sharp view
It's all about finding a franchise quarterback and adding the best player available.
  6. Keeping it Real view
It's all about getting a franchise QB and drafting the best player available regardless of position. I run my mock drafts like I was the GM of each team.
  7. Rips in the Chap view
It's all about the franchise QB and drafting the best available player after that.
  8. GXD333 Post Free Agency view
It's always about getting a franchise QB and selecting the BPA.
  9. GXD333 Loves Texas view
As always folks, it's all about having a franchise QB and then drafting the best player available. Too many teams reach for players that just don't make that much of an impact.
  10. GXD333 King Smitty Keeping it Real view
Alright folks! We are changing it up for the mock draft contest. Usually I present my mock drafts with what I would do as the GM of each team. This draft is what I think they will actually do. In a few weeks we'll see that I should get paid 100's of thousands of dollars because my picks will be better in the long run.
  11. GXD333 King Smitty view
I run my mock drafts like I am the GM of each team. It's all about having a franchise QB, after that pass rushers, OT's, and do it all LB's. Rate me, leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.

NFL 2018

  1. GXD333 Baby Draft view
It's a baby draft because it's way to early to tell what will actually fun but how care's because it's fun to talk about it. The draft order is in the order of my lowest to highest ranked teams in my most recent NFL Power Rankings. As always, it's about the BPA.
  2. GXD333 Still loves the Browns view
It's all about the best player available unless you have a Pro Bowler at that position.
  3. Why is the NFL a non-profit organization? view
Seriously, the NFL makes billions of dollars a year and it's a non-profit organization because it got politicians to make a special exception decades ago? Anyway, it's always about the Best Play Available for you team unless you have a Pro Bowler at the position.
  4. GXD Free Agent Updated Draft view
In the NFL you need a QB, an OL, and pass rushers!
  5. Smitty's World Power Draft view
You need a QB, to protect your QB, and pass rushers as the top 3 things to succeed. Then fill everything else in.

NBA 2017

  1. King Smitty Lives Large! view
The NBA draft is different then the NFL. A lot of the NBA is about potential and not established history. I still think the Best Player Available philosophy is better but less important than NFL.

NFL 2017

  1. 2017 NFL Mock Draft by Gxd333 - 2.19 view
    It's all about the BPA.
  2. GXD333 Post Combine/Free Agency view
It's all about the best player available that make sense for the team. Reaching hardly ever works out.

NFL 2016

  1. GXD333 BPA 1.0 view
It is all about taking the best player available that makes sense for you team. Also, if there is great value at a position even if it isn't a need you draft BPA. I never reach for a need, the one exception is QB because without a QB you can't win in this league.
  2. 2016 GXD333 King Smith 2.0 view
For me it is all about the best player available (BPA). You take the BPA unless you have a solid starter in his prime at that position. I don't reach for needs. The only exception is QB, the NFL is a QB driven league. You are never doing to win it all without a Franchise QB.
  3. GXD333 King Smitty 3.0 view
For me it's all about the best player available (BPA), the only exception is QB. The NFL is a QB driven league and you can't win the Super Bowl without one. The number you see next to the pick is Rank on my big board + Team need = total score for the pick. The lower the # the better. So if the Titans take the #1 player on my board and it meets their number 1 need that would be a score of 2, which would be the best possible.
  4. Smitty's World BPA 2016 Draft view
For me, it's all about the best player available (BPA) that fills a need for your team. The only exception is QB because the NFL is a QB driven league and you need one to win it all. There are a few exceptions like when you have a dominating defense like Denver did.
  5. Smitty's World BPA Post Combine Draft view
It's all about the best player available that fills a need for your team. The only exception is QB. The NFL is a QB driven league so you have to have one to win.
