Round 1

1. Bengals: Joe Burrow, Quarterback, LSU

The Bengals will draft Burrow, no point in trying to overthink this.

2. Redskins: Chase Young, Defensive End, Ohio State

The Redskins would be fools to not draft Chase Young. Young and Montez Sweat would give them a pair of young pass rushers with star potential.

3. Chargers: Tua Tagovailoa, Quarterback, Alabama

Trade: The Chargers trade pick 6, a 3rd round pick this year, a 5th round pick this year, and a 2nd round pick in 2021 to go get their QB.
At the end of the day I think the Chargers will be desperate enough to pull this off. They need some hype around the team to sell tickets and Tua can provide that. Plus they can still start Tyrod Taylor while Tua gets fully healthy and up to speed.

4. Giants: Isaiah Simmons, Outside Linebacker, Clemson

Simmons can play almost anywhere on defense. I think he'll eventually settle at LB, but the Giants can use him to create mismatches on defense.

5. Dolphins: Justin Herbert, Quarterback, Oregon

The Dolphins have apparently put a ton of work in on Herbert. Maybe its a smokescreen, but with the Chargers moving up for Tua then doing the homework on Herbert will pay off for Miami.

6. Lions: Jeff Okudah, Cornerback, Ohio State

The Lions move back and still get the guy they were likely to take at 3. Okudah can replace the departed Darius Slay.

7. Panthers: Derrick Brown, Defensive Tackle, Auburn

With Simmons and Okudah gone, the Panthers grab Brown to reinforce the middle of their defense. Brown didn't have great sack numbers but he was a monster for opposing teams to deal with.

8. Falcons: C.J. Henderson, Cornerback, Florida

Trade: The Falcons trade picks 16, 78, and a 2021 3rd round pick to Arizona for picks 8, and 114.
I'll bite on the rumors of the Falcons trading up to ensure they get Henderson. They need a CB now more than anything else after releasing Trufant.

9. Raiders: CeeDee Lamb, Wide Receiver, Oklahoma

Trade: The Raiders send picks 12, 80, and 81 to the Jags for pick 9.
The Raiders move up to take their pick of the top WRs. They land on Lamb due to his physicality and playmaking ability.

10. Browns: Tristan Wirfs, Offensive Tackle, Iowa

I think Wirfs is a RT only and the Browns signed Conklin, but a lot of people think Wirfs can play LT so it seems reasonable for the Browns to take a chance on that upside.

11. Broncos: Henry Ruggs, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Trade: The Broncos trade picks 15 and 83 to the Jets for picks 11 and 158.
The Broncos move up to get some speed next to Courtland Sutton. Lock has the arm strength to take advantage of Ruggs speed.

12. Jaguars: Javon Kinlaw, Defensive Tackle, South Carolina

The Jags move back and still get the best DT in the draft. Kinlaw is a little more raw than Brown, but he may have more upside.

13. 49ers: Jerry Jeudy, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Things fall the 49ers way and they get arguably the best WR in the draft. Jeudy's route running in Shanahan's offense will be scary.

14. Buccaneers: Andrew Thomas, Offensive Tackle, Georgia

Thomas is the best LT in this class but may be asked to start at RT for the Bucs. He made doing so look easy as a freshman at UGA.

15. Jets: Mekhi Becton, Offensive Tackle, Louisville

Becton is a mammoth human with a ton of potential but he also needs to polish up his game. The Jets still need offensive line help and betting on Becton's upside after trading down isn't a bad idea.

16. Cardinals: Jedrick Wills, Offensive Tackle, Alabama

Wills is a RT, but outside of Thomas, he is the OT most likely to start day 1.
