Round 1

Obvious choice, I didnt think Mike Brown would ever give up on Dalton, but he really has no choice here, burrow is probably the best qb prospect pre-draft since Jameis Winston and should be a solid choice...

Slam dunk defensive selection, the Redskins will definitely be giving Haskins his chance this year, and he will need a decent defense to keep games close...

The Dolphins passed on the plethora of free agent qb's available this year, several of which are still available and better than Ryan Fitzpatrick. This can only mean one thing, they are drafting Tua high, or they are tanking for another year. Tanking doesnt make any sense though, as theres no way Miami will get the #1 pick if they couldnt do it last year, especially with their free agent signings. Tua looks to be a reasonable prospect, but there is some risk here with his height and injury. The top qbs in a given draft rarely make it out of the top 5 and though the Dolphins could wait until 5 the risk of losing Tua to the Chargers or a trade up from someone else is just too high, especially since the Lions and Giants wont be qb shopping.

Many would say the Giants go OT here, but with their last 2 top 10 picks going to the offense, they go with a blue chip defensive prospect this time.

The Lions get trade value and who they wanted all along with this pick, solid prospect to an ailing team, that should help keep Stafford from having to carry the weight of this team as much.

The Chargers, like the Dolphins have avoided signing a free agent Qb, which opens the door for drafting someone high. This is probably an overdraft by quite a few picks, but after Herbert the potential really starts to drop for qbs in this draft. The Chargers have to do something to try to fill seats?...

The Panthers are going to need someone to supplement the loss of Luke Kuechly, they do it at #7.

The Cardinals go for a massive lineman to protect their not so massive qb...

The Jags are going to need a replacement for Jalen Ramsey, they attempt to do that here...

The Browns have been trying to find a replacement for Joe Thomas for years, they try to do it with a new Thomas, Andrew Thomas...

The Jets foolishly waste a high pick on a WR when first round wrs have produced little of late, in a draft not known for its receivers. They will feel the need to give Darnold someone to throw to and will oblige here.

The Raiders will need to replace Khalil Mack in some form eventually right?

The 49ers have a strong run game, but they opt to strengthen it more here...

The Bucs opt to strengthen an already strong defense that will set up Tom Brady to finish the job with the best player available on defense.

The Broncos opt to protect Drew Lock with this pick.

The Falcons have to go defense with this pick.
