Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Bengals: Tua Tagovailoa, Quarterback, Alabama

ONLY IF HIS MEDICAL IS CLEAN, which it sounds like it will be. Tua is a special arm talent with great leadership. I take Tua over Burrow because of Tua's arm talent.

2. Redskins: Chase Young, Defensive End, Ohio State

No brain-er! Don't trade down, Don't get cute and double up on QB's or get an outside weapon, take the best player in the draft and hope he is good enough to get your defense playing at a high level.

3. Lions: Joe Burrow, Quarterback, LSU

I like Stafford but this thing has run its course and its time to make a move for a guy with that "IT" factor. Burrow can be an energy changer that DET needs. Plus you can package Stafford for a very nice piece/draft pick to who ever loses out on this years QB sweepstakes.

4. Giants: Derrick Brown, Defensive Tackle, Auburn

Brown has a great motor and a high character guy, which is needed when you are trying to build a new culture. Secondly the NYG seem to have no plan since Gettleman has been in the FO. Building a team from inside out would be a start of a plan.

5. Dolphins: Isaiah Simmons, Outside Linebacker, Clemson

With the Byron Jones signing it makes this decision much easier. Isaiah is an eraser, going up against a great RB Isaiah can lock him down, Great TE, or a good slot reciever, Simmons can guard them all. And when you have a talent issue every difference maker matters.

6. Chargers: Andrew Thomas, Offensive Tackle, Georgia

Andrew Thomas is my #1 OT because he has the best balance between technique and violence, all in a huge 6'5 315 frame. Having said that there are a lot of good OT in this draft and any of them would be a great pick here for LAC

7. Panthers: Jeff Okudah, Cornerback, Ohio State

The NFC South is QB/WR deep. Carolina has been awful in the secondary since the lose of Josh Norman, this would be a start.

8. Cardinals: Jedrick Wills, Offensive Tackle, Alabama

Arizona has upgraded their weakness to an extreme strength in one day. Now the next hole to fill is Oline and Jedrick is a great start.

9. Jaguars: Jerry Jeudy, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Jax is trying to find a QB who can pull them from the dumpster fire that has been their history and when they get him he is going to need an outside threat to go along with leonard in the back field. Jerry Jeudy is a playmaker and a great threat.

10. Browns: Tristan Wirfs, Offensive Tackle, Iowa

With the run on OT going this is the last of the real elite guys left before we get into the mid to late 1st rounders. Cleveland landed Jack Conklin in FA and adding Wirfs could really change the outlook of their whole O-Line.

11. Jets: CeeDee Lamb, Wide Receiver, Oklahoma

GIVE SAM DARNOLD SOME F***ING HELP. There it is, end of analysis.

12. Raiders: K'Lavon Chaisson, Defensive End, LSU

Raiders have a good young core and Chaisson would be a great addition. They are missing a speed rusher to go along side Crosby and Ferrell, and with Lamb and Jeudy off the board WR is going to have to wait.

13. 49ers: Javon Kinlaw, Defensive Tackle, South Carolina

Kinlaw would fit in great with that ferocious D-Line. Kinlaw has a high motor that fits perfectly with a Saleh ran defense.

14. Buccaneers: Jordan Love, Quarterback, Utah State

Im not "in love" with love but I think Bruce Arians could be the one who gets him playing at his full potential. Tampa has officially moved on from Winston and on to Brady. This gives Jordan some time with no expectations of playing, to polish his game and get ready to take over.

15. Broncos: Laviska Shenault, Wide Receiver, Colorado

Elway seems to have found his QB in Lock. Now he needs to surround him with talent and protection. Laviska is a playmaker, he can play on the outside, the slot, can run the ball, and is tough. Laviska can take a lot off Locks plate by making plays in the short passing and running game.

16. Falcons: Kristian Fulton, Cornerback, LSU

Atl has a lot of holes, mainly CB and edge rusher. With most of the top edge rushers already off the board CB is the answer. Fulton just barely grades higher for me over CJ Henderson because Fulton is more physical and isnt as much of a risk taker as CJ who will make more plays but will give up more big ones.
