Published at 4/23/2020 5:19:43 PM

Accurate picks with trades based off best player available. This is what I think will happen.

Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Bengals: Joe Burrow, Quarterback, LSU

Easiest pick for Bengals since Carson Palmer.

2. Redskins: Chase Young, Defensive End, Ohio State

Young is this years' Nick Bosa.

3. Dolphins: Andrew Thomas, Offensive Tackle, Georgia

*Dolphins trade 1.05 and 2.39 to Lions for 1.03
The Dolphins pass on QB here, and instead shore up their left tackle spot for the next 10 years.

4. Giants: Jedrick Wills, Offensive Tackle, Alabama

A big mauler who can solidify a tackle spot to protect Daniel Jones.

5. Lions: Jeff Okudah, Cornerback, Ohio State

*see 1.03
Easy pick for the Lions after a trade down. It's not a huge haul, but they get to pay Okudah less money, and get an extra 2nd rounder.

6. Chargers: Tristan Wirfs, Offensive Tackle, Iowa

A quarterback could be at play here, but the Chargers should shore up their offensive line to take the next step with several veteran QB options available in free agency or via trade.

7. Panthers: Jerry Jeudy, Wide Receiver, Alabama

*Broncos trade 1.15, 2.46, and 3.95 to Panthers for 1.07 and 7.222
The Broncos see Jeudy as a perfect fit for their offense. I think they go up and get him.

8. Falcons: C.J. Henderson, Cornerback, Florida

*Falcons trade 1.16, 3.78 and 2021 2nd rounder to Cards for 1.08 and 2021 6th rounder
The Falcons need a true number one corner, and I think Henderson will be that guy for them, as there is no way he escapes past the top 10.

9. Jaguars: Isaiah Simmons, Outside Linebacker, Clemson

Simmons' lack of true position causes a slight fall, as his talent is top 3. He is a perfect fit as a Myles Jack/Telvin Smith player in this defense.

10. Browns: CeeDee Lamb, Wide Receiver, Oklahoma

With no tackle worth picking here, the Browns settle on Jeudy as their new shiny toy at wide receiver.

11. Saints: Tua Tagovailoa, Quarterback, Alabama

*Saints trade 1.24, 2021 1st rounder and 2021 4th rounder to Jets for 1.11
The Saints fly up the draft boards to take Tua, who will have time to get completely healthy and learn behind Drew Brees over the next year or two.

12. Raiders: Henry Ruggs, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Ruggs' speed and toughness screams Jon Gruden.

13. 49ers: Javon Kinlaw, Defensive Tackle, South Carolina

He's a perfect fit to replace DeForest Buckner.

14. Buccaneers: Mekhi Becton, Offensive Tackle, Louisville

A tackle makes the most sense for the Bucs. Becton is a massive man with All-Pro potential if he can put his game together.

15. Raiders: Justin Herbert, Quarterback, Oregon

*Raiders trade 1.19 and 3.80 to Panthers (from Broncos) for 1.15
The Raiders see Herbert slipping and take him to groom behind Derek Carr, with hopes he can start in 2021.

16. Cardinals: K'Lavon Chaisson, Defensive End, LSU

*see 1.08
A trade down nets a nice return. Chaisson will provide extra pass rush aside from Chandler Jones.
