Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama
The Dolphins are almost a lock to go 0-16 and so with the first pick of course they get Tua. He is one of the most exciting dual threat QBs that we've seen and he seems like the perfect player for Miami to build around.
Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon
With Tagovailoa off the board, the Bengals take the next best option to replace Andy Dalton who has lead the team to mediocrity for years. With Herbert, new coach Zac Taylor gets HIS guy to mold into a star.
Andrew Thomas, T, Georgia
The Skins' need help in a ton of places and while Jerry Jeudy would add an explosive factor to this offense, Terry McLaurin has been impressive enough for them not to take a receiver. Thomas is the next surefire amazing o-lineman like Laremy Tunsil and Quenton Nelson were. The Trent Williams era is likely over in DC, but Thomas can replace him right away.
Chase Young, DE, Ohio State
This season has been a major bust for a team that had off-season Super Bowl aspirations. While it hurts for them to be so bad, something great comes out of it. The Falcons snag generational talent Chase Young to spearhead their D-line along with Grady Jarrett and try to finally generate some real pressure. This is a game-changing pick for ATL.
Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama
You know its a stacked draft when the possible best player in the draft is still available at 5. Jeudy is the first surefire stud receiver I've seen in years. Jeudy has been a monster in college and the Jets give Sam Darnold his guy. That duo could prove to be a nightmare for opposing defenses.
Joe Burrow, QB, LSU
Burrow has been one of the biggest breakout players in college football this season. His draft stock is rapidly rising and with the Chargers flailing from a contender to a bottom feeder, they find their future franchise QB. Burrow can learn behind future HOFer Phillip Rivers for a little before becoming the starter for years to come.
Grant Delpit, S, LSU
You can't go wrong with this pick. Possibly the best player in the draft and likely the number 1 overall pick in some drafts, Denver would love to be able to steal him at 7. If John Elway still has the job, this is a pick you can't go wrong with. Add him into the defense and you are set.
AJ Epenesa, DE, Iowa
The Giants' biggest need can be addressed right here by taking the skilled pass rusher AJ Epenesa. He can start for them immediately and he is likely to produce.
Walker Little, T, Stanford
Cleveland has a massive need at tackle and Walker Little is an amazing prospect for this need. There are some great tackles in this draft and Little is one of them. With a better O-line, this offense could reach some insane heights.
Jeff Okudah, CB, Ohio State
This is a major snag for the tanking Dolphins. Okudah's draft stock is rapidly rising and he's projected by most to go in the top 5. I have him falling a bit but the Dolphins who need help everywhere go best player available and grab the super talented and athletic corner to pair with stud Xavien Howard.
Jacob Eason, QB, Washington
Jameis Winston is ALSO not the answer for the Bucs. Jacob Eason is tall and has a big arm which is something that Bruce Arians will die for. Arians will be the absolute PERFECT coach for Eason.
Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn
The Lions need help in a lot of places but with defensive minded head coach Matt Patricia, they go for the super talented D-lineman Derrick Brown out of Auburn. Brown has potential to be the steal of the first round. He is massive and could be a game wrecker like Fletcher Cox. I love this pick for the Lions!
Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia
The Mariota experiment is finally over with in Nashville. Mariota just hasn't gotten it done and the Titans are ready for the future. Jake Fromm has been great during his time at Georgia and has the perfect size for the QB position. Be ready for the Fromm era in Tennessee.
Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama
The Eagles are quickly fading from playoff contention and the big reason is their secondary. It's been demolished by injury and their corners just straight up can't get it done. Diggs is one of the best corners in this draft and the Eagles can really on him to play right away along with Ronald Darby. His potential is off the charts.
Isaiah Simmons, S, Clemson
A player who is rising quickly on draft boards, Simmons is a beast. He is good in coverage and can come and rush the pass. I think this is a versatile player that the Jags can pair with young S Ronnie Harrison and have their safety tandem for the future.
Yetur Gross-Matos, DE, Penn State
The Cards are lacking pressure off their D-line and so they go with Gross-Matos out of Penn State who has crazy potential. He has produced very well at Penn State and could be the steal of the first round considering he may be a top 10 talent.
