Round 1

The 49ers go with the game-wrecking edge rusher over Quinnen Williams

I've seen a few mocks from respected draft gurus that are slotting Oliver here, and apparently new DC Gregg Williams really wants Oliver. Williams might be the best player in this class, but it's worth noting that he only really starred for one college season. Oliver has been a monster since he was a freshman.

The Raiders would have to be thrilled here. Walter made the smart connection that Oliver's agent is the same agent that represented Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper, so if Williams went 3rd, perhaps the Raiders would choose Josh Allen over Oliver.

The Bucs apparently love White, and could pair him with Lavonte David to form quite the linebacking duo.

Allen is the guy, if the board is like this.

Taylor might be in a battle with Jonah Williams to be the first OL chosen. Watch out for TJ Hockenson here, too.

TRADE! If someone like Oliver, Allen, or White were available, I think the Lions could stay in this spot. But if not, I believe they'd like to move down. The Redskins and Giants, division rivals, both want to emerge with a QB. Washington's pick, at 15, is slightly higher than NY's next pick at 17. The Giants' 2nd rounder is higher than Washington's pick, though. Would Washington or NY cough up its 2020 1st rounder? Dan Synder is usually the more desperate owner, so I'm going to guess that his team gives up #15 and next year's 1st rounder. They take Haskins, the QB they like the most.

The Broncos, connected with Drew Lock, don't go QB here but take a LB prospect that would fit well in Vic Fangio's scheme.

TRADE! The Falcons trade up with Cincy to take a premium interior D-lineman in Wilkins.

The Giants trade up with Miami to take the #1 QB on their board.

Sweat's heart condition is going to make calling where he lands tough. His measureables should appeal to Cincy.

The Lions add an edge rusher to their front seven.

More protection is needed for Cam Newton.
