Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Cardinals: Nick Bosa, Defensive End, Ohio State

It took me until last week to be convinced that Kyler woudn't be taken here. Josh Rosen will stay in Arizona and the Cardinals will address another one of their pressing needs by taking the best player in this draft(When Healthy) Nick Bosa

Also keep an eye out for Patrick Peterson, people have said he's on the block and I could see him being traded to an AFC team like the Chiefs for maybe a 2nd rounder. We'll see though, this rumor has came up for the last 2 years.

2. 49ers: Prospect not selected

If Bosa is not available..this is an easy pick. Williams and Bosa are both interchangeably the best two prospects in the draft. The 49ers can't afford to pass up on generational talent from this spot.

3. Jets: Ed Oliver, Defensive Tackle, Houston

The Jets defense is looking well improved after Free Agency. They will most likely look to trade out of this spot but if they can't they might take a chance on Ed Oliver, who the Jets have been reportedly interested in. This would shake a lot of things up in the draft but its actually a really good fit for this defense, and many forget that last year many would have had Ed Oliver as the top pick in this draft.

4. Raiders: Rashan Gary, Defensive End, Michigan

.Surprise! Kinda? The Raiders have been rumored to have a surprise pick at the 4th pick. Rashan Gary is the kind of player that the Raiders would bank on..Raw Physical Talent, Big 10 school. The main problem with him is the lack of production. However I think the Raiders will look past that and take him for his versatility and high ceiling.

5. Buccaneers: Devin White, Inside Linebacker, LSU

This pick is probably the most mocked pick aside from Kyler going to AZ. I don't think those writers will be wrong. This is a good fit for Tampa and for Devin White, he'll be an immediate Day 1 starter and could be a pro bowler year 1.

6. Giants: Josh Allen, 3-4 Outside Linebacker, Kentucky

Might be a surprise for people considering the early hype around Josh Allen. But if you haven't noticed...the hype is kind of died down. This is because I don't really see Josh Allen as atheltic, and he doesn't really have the best passrushing moveset some of the other players have. Usually you have one or the other. Nonetheless, he's still extremely talented and you also can't argue with the 17 sacks he has last year in the SEC. I think the Giants would be very excited to have him at this pick.

7. Jaguars: Jonah Williams, Offensive Tackle, Alabama

Jags are looking to improve their offense and rather than taking popular mock pick Jawaan Taylor, I believe they'll maybe reach a bit for Jonah Williams. He can play both RT or LT, although they'll play him at RT most likely, and fill an immediate need. Jags could also take Hockenson here but I believe they'll wait until the 2nd round.

8. Lions: T.J. Hockenson, Tight End, Iowa

.After missing out on Eric Ebron, the Lions have been missing a strong Tight end since Brandon Pettigrew. Hock is a lot of fun to watch, he's good at both levels of playing tight end, and can improve this offense in the run and pass game.

9. Bills: D.K. Metcalf, Wide Receiver, Ole Miss

The Bills somewhat addressed their receiver needs by signing Cole Beasley and John Brown. I think they need another guy here to make it more complete, and D.K is the guy. He's starting to slide down Mock Drafts but I think he makes the Bills way more competitive.

10. Broncos: Prospect not selected

For the longest time I had Drew Lock here, but after some thought, reading articles, and talking to some of my friends about this, I think Bush would be the ideal pick for Denver. If John Elway thinks they can win now, this will be the pick, and to be quite frank..he believes the Broncos can compete right now.

11. Bengals: Dwayne Haskins, Quarterback, Ohio State

First QB off the board @ 11? Haskins stays in Ohio to help new coach Zac Taylor start off fresh. I don't think the Bengals will immediately move on from Andy Dalton, but I think the Bengals are due for some change as they may be looking at a full rebuild.

12. Packers: Brian Burns, Defensive End, Florida State

The Packers defense got a lot better this offseason. They look to be competeitive again and adding another solid pass rusher will probably do the trick. Burns had an excellent final year of college, and would fit nicely on the line with Mike Daniels and new acquired Za'Darius Smith.

13. Dolphins: Kyler Murray, Quarterback, Oklahoma

Before the Kyler draft hype began this is the spot I had him going. It's not hard to imagine Kyler in a Dolphins Uniform and we all know Fitzmagic isn't the long term answer here. Kyler will take some time to develop but could prove to be a steal this low.

14. Falcons: Prospect not selected

A few years ago if you would me the Falcons would take a pass rusher at 14 I would think you'd be crazy. Unfortunately Vic Beasley and Tak have not panned out the way we thought. Clelin Ferrell is a competitor and fits will on this Atlanta Defense. I don't see Atlanta going anywhere else but EDGE here.

15. Redskins: Drew Lock, Quarterback, Missouri

Case Keenum is not the long term answer in DC. The Redskins could potentially go elsewhere here if they see themselves as competitive, but it may be smart of them to take a chance on Drew Lock and let him sit a year behind Case. Drew Lock is the prototypical QB, and while he has his flaws he has a very high ceiling. If the Cardinals DO pick Kyler..this is my spot for Josh Rosen.

16. Panthers: Jawaan Taylor, Offensive Tackle, Florida

This is the ideal fit for Jawaan Taylor, a run heavy team in need of a RT. Jawaan would slide right into the right side of the Offensive line and become a Day 1 starter.
