Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Raiders: Nick Bosa, Defensive End, Ohio State

Cardinals have tons of needs. Raiders have tons of picks, and need to guarantee they net a premiere pash rusher. Raiders trade #4 #24 #35 and a 2019 3rd rd pick to the Cards to move up to the #1 spot.

2. Jaguars: Dwayne Haskins, Quarterback, Ohio State

The Bortles era is over. Jags trade #7 #38 #69 and 2019 2nd Rd pick to the 49ers to move ahead of the G-Men and draft their new QB. Alternate Options: QB Kyler Murray, QB Will Grier, QB Daniel Jones

3. Jets: Prospect not selected

Jets might try to trade down, as they have no 2nd round picks, but Williams is a solid pick if they don't get an offer they like. Alternate Options: OT Jonah WIlliams, DE Josh Allen, OT Jawaan Taylor

4. Cardinals: Josh Allen, 3-4 Outside Linebacker, Kentucky

The Cards take Josh Allen or Quinnen Williams (which ever one is left). They'll look to add OL or WR with the picks they got in the trade with the Raiders. Alternate Options: OT Jonah WIlliams, DT Ed Oliver, OT Jawaan Taylor

5. Buccaneers: Jawaan Taylor, Offensive Tackle, Florida

Assuming Gerald McCoy stays on the roster, I think Bucs go tackle here. Alternate Options: OT Jonah WIlliams, DT Ed Oliver, CB Greedy Williams

6. Giants: Prospect not selected

I think Eli begins the season as starter, but he'll be benched in favor of Murray at some point. Alternate Options: QB Will Grier, QB Daniel Jones, OT Jonah Williams

7. Bills: Ed Oliver, Defensive Tackle, Houston

The Bills have tons of needs, but DT might be the most pressing following Williams' retirement. The 49ers got this pick from the Jags, but continue accumulating picks, and trade down again. Bills trade away #9 and #40 for #7 and #67. Alternate Options: OT Jonah WIlliams, DE Rashan Gary, DT Christian Wilkins

8. Lions: Rashan Gary, Defensive End, Michigan

Gary fits Patricia's versatility dependent scheme perfectly. No need to overthink this one, great value at #8. Alternate Options: DE Rashan Gary, OT Jonah WIlliams, CB Greedy Williams

9. 49ers: Greedy Williams, Cornerback, LSU

The 49ers finally make a pick. In this mock the 49ers have already addressed WR by trading #32, 2019 1st rd pick, and 2019 2nd rd pick for Antonio Brown. Somehow the team finished a whole season with only 2 interceptions. Fixing that has to be the first priority. Alternate Options: OT Jonah WIlliams, WR , DT Christian Wilkins, CB Byron Murphy

10. Broncos: Christian Wilkins, Defensive Tackle, Clemson

The Broncos need to upgrade QB, but Elway can't miss again at that position. WR is a huge need after trading Thomas and losing Sanders to injury, but I think they'll add someone like Golden Tate or Funchess in free agency. Wilkins is too talented to pass up, especially considering the QB talent in next year's class. Alternate Options: OT Jonah WIlliams, DE Jeffery Simmons, WR N'Keal Harry

11. Bengals: Devin White, Inside Linebacker, LSU

The Bengals are in almost the same exact boat as the Broncos. We don't know who the coach will be, so this pick is hard to predict. Foles will be available via trade or free agency, and I think he lands with the Bengals. With QB set, and Burfict's concussion count rising, they grab LB Devin White. Alternate Options: OT Jonah WIlliams, DE Jeffery Simmons, WR N'Keal

12. Packers: Prospect not selected

Packers need to improve WR group, and get a TE, but need to improve their pass rush just as much. Ferrell is a better prospect than any WR or TE. Also Clay Matthews is a free agent. I think they'll re-sign him, but he'll be more effective if opposing teams have to account for Ferrell too. Alternate Options: DE Jeffery Simmons, DT Raekwon Davis, Jachai Polite

13. Dolphins: Jeffery Simmons, Defensive Tackle, Mississippi State

Similar to bengals, this is hard to predict without knowing who the coach will be. This could easily be a QB. I think the Dolphins move on from Tannehill, but wind up with Teddy Bridgewater, and maybe take a QB later in the draft. Simmons is talented enough to significantly improve the dumpster fire that the Dolphins call a D-Line, but he has major character flags. He's a top 5 pick from a talent perspective, but he might slip even further because off the character concerns. Alternate Options: DT Raekwon Davis, QB Will Grier, QB Drew Lock

14. Falcons: Prospect not selected

The Falcons had terrible run defense last season, and may lose Grady Jarrett to free agency. Even if they keep Jarrett, they need to get tougher up front. Raekwon Davis is great value at 14. The only reason he's available here is because of how loaded this class is with D-Line prospects. They also allowed too many sacks and QB hits so improving the O-LIne is also an option. Alternate Options: DT Dexter Lawrence, OT Jonah Williams, OT Greg Little

15. Redskins: N'Keal Harry, Wide Receiver, Arizona State

I think the Skins wind up with Flacco at QB. Similar to the Dolphins, I think they sign a vet and wait to draft a QB until later in the draft. The problem is there's no one to throw to. This WR corp is probably worst in the league, so they add N'Keal Harry, and target someone like Adam Humpries in free agency. Alternate Options: WR D.K. Metcalf, WR A.J. Brown, QB Drew Lock

16. Panthers: DeAndre Baker, Cornerback, Georgia

The Panthers share a division with Brees, Matt Ryan, and a statistically impressive Bucs passing attack. They have to improve their pass coverage to compete there. I think they'll re-sign Funchess, so WR is not a huge priority. Alternate Options: CB Byron Murphy, OT Jonah Williams, WR D.K. Metcalf
