Round 1

1. Browns: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

Josh Allen appears to be the Browns top QB choice right now. That could change in a few weeks, but for right now I think Allen is their guy. Right decision? Who really knows, knowing Cleveland's track record when it comes to QBs.

2. Giants: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

The Giants are saying all the right things in public about being happy with their QB situation, but If they stay at two, QB will be the pick here. If they want anything other than QB, they will move this pick.

3. Jets: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

I firmly believe the Jets plan on taking Baker Mayfield with this pick. Here's why I believe this: #1 All they talk about is Josh Rosen, so that probably means that they don't want him. #2 Colts are good at QB and will be looking for a game changing defensive player or if they're lucky Barkley. If the Colts thought for a second the Jets were targeting one of their guys, this trade never happens imo. #3 you don't give up that much to just take whichever QB is left.... if they wanted one of the top 2 they would have moved to #2 imo.

4. Browns: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

The Browns will probably move this pick to the highest bidder, but if they stay put I think they piss their fanbase off by passing on Barkley and grabbing Bradley Chubb to play along with last years top choice Myles Garrett to continue to build a solid D. Carlos Hyde was a solid signing for Cleveland so I think they have the option to wait on drafting another HB later in the draft.

5. Broncos: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Broncos are in the market for another QB, but if Barkley is on the board, he will be a Bronco. Barkley's slide only has to do with teams needing Quarterbacks. Barkley can be the immediate starter in Mile High and Denver will be able to put CJ Anderson to a reserve role and put Booker back into a 3rd down back role.

6. Colts: Prospect not selected

One word describes Trenaine Edmonds: RAW. He is an absolute freak of nature and naturally gifted, but lacks fundamentals at this point of his career. If he picks up the NFL game quickly, he could be the next Jadeveon Clowney, and if he doesn't he could easily be Aaron Curry.

7. Buccaneers: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

Ward sat behind Marshon Lattimore and Gareon Conley waiting on his chance to shine, and he didn't disappoint when his opportunity came. Now he will join his former teammates as a first round pick. Bucs have made serious upgrades to its front 7, which was terrible at getting after the QB so they continue to add young pieces to its secondary.

8. Bears: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

Bears draft the versatile Bama DB/Safety to help out their young, hungry defense. Fitzpatrick has crazy range and could be a ballhawk on the next level. Playing AROD, Stafford and Cousins 6 times a year, the Bears must improve their secondary.

9. 49ers: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

Tartt and Ward are a solid young duo at safety, but James is too good to pass up and the 49ers have shown they have no problem stacking players at positions like they have done with their defensive line.

10. Raiders: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

BPA here for Oakland. Their offensive line was one of the league's best a few seasons ago, but has shown a few kinks last season as well as a few injuries. Nelson has the talent to eventually be moved to tackle and replace an aging Donald Penn.

11. Dolphins: Roquan Smith, Outside Linebacker, Georgia

Smith has reportedly been red flagged by multiple teams for his injury history and has slide down the boards a bit but it shouldn't knock him down too far. Miami is in rebuild mode on defense and needs some attitude on the team.

12. Bills: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

Bills more than likely will have to move up to get their QB in reality, but in this mock the planets aligned perfectly and they have one fall in their laps. Rosen has the best mechanics of all the QBs in the draft and probably the most NFL ready, but he has been labeled a bad teammate by former coaches that goes all the way back to high school.

13. Redskins: Mike Hughes, Cornerback, Central Florida

Washington has a gaping hole in its secondary opposite of Josh Norman after they traded away Kendall Fuller to KC to get Alex Smith. Newly signed CB Orlando Scandrick will be 32 this year and isn't a long term answer. Hughes has character concerns from a fight at UNC that got him thrown off the team and forcing him to go to Jr college before going the UCF. He had an outstanding combine and has turned heads.

14. Packers: Jaire Alexander, Cornerback, Louisville

Green bay has brought back Tramon Williams for a 2nd stint with the team, but he's now 35 years old and not the long term answer obviously. Alexander is an elite cover corner and a dangerous punt returner.

15. Cardinals: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Ridley is the best route running wr in the draft. Doesn't do anything great but does everything well. Should learn a lot from Larry Fitzgerald and be his eventual successor at WR1 in Arizona.

16. Ravens: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

Ravens have moved Guard Alex Lewis to RT bwr he is better suited for Guard. McGlinchey would be penciled in day one as the starting RT.
