Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Browns: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

Although I could see the Browns either trading down or taking Rosen, I believe Darnold is the better option if they stay at 1. The reason Rosen may be taken over Darnold is because of Darnold's average play, and the fact that Hue Jackson needs a win now QB in order to continue to be the head coach.

2. Giants: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

I believe the Giants will take Rosen or Darnold at #2, regardless of the coach they get. Although I am not a huge Rosen believer like some people, he could have a solid rookie season, and has potential to be a pro bowler because of his natural talent.

3. Colts: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Frank Gore is getting up there in age, and although they need both an OL and an entire defense, I see them getting a RB to pair with the returning Andrew Luck. I could see them trading down too potentially.

4. Browns: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

(via texans)

The Browns need a safety pretty badly. The Browns like to blitz a lot, so Fitzpatrick would be a perfect fit because he has a great pursuit.

5. Broncos: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

Josh Allen has huge potential. He has a strong arm, with just some accuracy issues. Even if he becomes an average QB, I doubt he will be worse than any QB on their roster.

6. Jets: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

The Jets need a QB bad, as Josh McCown may have taken his final snap this season. Todd Bowles needs a leader if he wants to keep his job as well.

7. Buccaneers: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

Bradley Chubb could be going to the Colts instead, but since I have them getting Barkley, I am sending Chubb to the Buccs. DE is one of their most needed positions, so getting Chubb will help their defense become elite.

8. Bears: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

I could see the Bears going with Calvin Ridley, but they will be getting Kevin White and Cameron Meredith back from injuries. The Bears getting Mike McGlinchey could make the Bears OL a problem to deal with, pairing up with Josh Sitton and Kyle Long.

9. 49ers: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

The 49ers are going to need at least one good receiver for Jimmy Garoppolo.

10. Raiders: Roquan Smith, Outside Linebacker, Georgia

The Raiders need some decent linebackers, as their defense has been pretty poor because of their current ones. Smith has looked amazing this season, and this could help put the Raiders back into the playoffs next season.

11. Dolphins: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

Many people believe the Nelson is a for sure star in the NFL. A star on the OL is exactly what the Dolphins need. They drafted Tunsil, who has played only average. A good guard would help them a lot.

12. Bengals: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

The Bengals need a better defense. Derwin James is likely a boom or bust draft pick, and although the Bengals need an OL more, I don't see them taking anyone available over Derwin James.

13. Redskins: Arden Key, Defensive End, LSU

The redskins could use another good pass rusher. Arden Key at 13 could end up being a great pick.

14. Packers: Joshua Jackson, Cornerback, Iowa

Another very underwhelming year for the Packers defense. Joshua Jackson has been an amazing coverage cornerback this season, so getting him could help their secondary.

15. Cardinals: Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Louisville

With Carson Palmer, Bruce Arians and potentially Larry Fitzgerald retiring, the Cardinals are in a bit of a pickle. A franchise QB will be the most important first thing.

16. Ravens: Maurice Hurst, Defensive Tackle, Michigan

The Ravens already have a good defense, but a better DL would certainly help.
