Round 1

This won't be the most popular pick- but I think Kizer was a romantic longshot to begin with, and the Browns have mishandled him. Kizer has all of the tools, but accuracy and progressive reads lack- just like at Notre Dame. Rosen has questionable intangibles, though I wonder if those are overblown with Rosen being a different cat who speaks his mind. The Browns better give him someone to throw to.

Though its fun to see Hoyer and Shanahan together again, obviously that's not more than a stopgap. Shanahan will be great for Darnold, and going up the coast Darnold will have a great career there. Though I am suspicious Darnold will stay in school one more year.

Flowers is going to get somebody killed at tackle. This will make the Giants oline progressively better, which will give Eli time and that whole offense transforms. Though it won't be long before they draft a replacement for Eli.

The Chargers have pass rush with Bosa and Ingram, but need more defensive studs. Here's a great one for the backend of their defense. I think Fitzpatrick may be better overall than James when it comes to football instincts.

Lose Whitworth and Zeitler, lose their minds. Dalton has to be set up for success, and even with weapons (Green, Ross? Eifert, Mixon) he needs help. All weapons and no line doesn't work.

Barkley was really tempting, but the Colts need premier defensive players- not only for talent, but the kind of talent that changes the perception and beliefs of a unit. One to build around and believe they can be good- Key could become that kind of player.

Some picks just seem right. Him and Floyd will have fun playing together.

Harris, Suh, Chubb- Miami wins in the trenches.

David Johnson will be back healthy, and Carson Palmer is looking older by the day.

As a Browns fan, I hate this pick. Barkley is the best talent in the draft that I have falling here, and would add wins to the Ravens each year.

To see Russell Wilson with a competent OLine would be fun to watch. Will it ever happen?

If the Browns are smart, they'll do something like this (or trade up for Barkley) AND sign Allen Robinson as a FA. Have to have talent at the skill positions, and they can't rely on Coleman to stay healthy.

The Jags have built a great team, sans their quarterback. If I'm the Jags I sell the farm for Garappolo in the off season- but for a mock's sake I go here.

How are the Jets winning? Gotta keep swinging at the QB position until they get it.

With Jordan and Rankins, Lattimore behind- the defense is slowly building some teeth.
