Round 1

Do you ever see a prospect and say to yourself: 'I can see that player in a ____ jersey.' For Darnold, I can already picture him as a Jet. Possibly it is past USC quarterback Mark Sanchez that triggers this relation. Darnold is a much better player than Sanchez was and will be the major factor in the Jets' rebuild.

TRADE: Colts receive Jaguars 2018 1st and 3rd, and 2019's 2nd AND Blake Bortles to move up five spots and grab their quarterback of the future. I see Josh Allen as Blake Bortles 2.0 so it would be laughable if the Jaguars coughed up a king's ransom for a carbon copy of the one player they were trying to avoid. Rosen won't be this player in my opinion.

Although I mentioned I saw Allen as Blake Bortles 2.0, I think with Kyle Shanahan that his maximum potential can be achieved.

Bengals' offensive line is terrible. With Whitworth leaving, the Bengals need a franchise left tackle to replace him. Williams is one of the better offensive line prospects to come out in a few years.

Poor Browns. Connor Williams would set them up for years to come as Joe Thomas is on the downside of his career. With that being said, James looks like a freak of nature out there. With James at SS and Peppers at FS. Suddenly the Browns secondary is terrifying.

Without question I believe this pick will be a receiver next year. Maybe Sutton or Kirk rise in the upcoming months? For now, Ridley is the pick. Ridley shows shades of Doug Baldwin.

Colts pickup the Jaguars 1st, 3rd, 2019 2nd, and Blake Bortles in this trade. Bortles will serve as a strong backup for Luck for when he inevitably goes down. Here they take Landry, who has all the tools to be a 12+ sack-a-season guy.

Bills are in total rebuild mode and grab Lamar Jackson. Jackson is the ultimate boom or bust prospect in the 2018 draft. His ceiling is that he will become the best player in the NFL - of which very few players boast this potential. On the other hand, his floor is that of RG3.

I wouldn't be shocked if Barkley went top three - so at pick nine, this is a total steal. Fortunately for the Browns in this scenario, the teams ahead of them all have needs that align with top prospects. Running back isn't a total need for the Browns, but with an elite running back prospect added to an already strengthened Browns team - all steps in the right direction. Derwin James and Saquon Barkley add a boost to both sides of the ball.

Wilkins being added to a defensive line that already boasts Cameron Jordan and Sheldon Rankins is salivating. Wilkins is going to be a day-one starter.

Redskins grab the second of the two elite running back prospects in this draft. Fat Rob and Perine don't offer anything to cause opposing defenses to worry. Guice will provide that, and will also alleviate the pressure if Cousins bolts this off-season.

Cardinals reach a bit for a quarterback in Mason Rudolph. Regardless, he is a player for them to build around.

Dolphins finally fill the hole that still exists since Grimes left.

Giants grab their tackle of the future - who will replace Ereck Flowers.

Rams continue to add weapons for Goff who has looked great lately. Kirk and Kupp will be a great pairing for Goff to continue his growth.

Chargers grab a dynamic athlete with Jefferson. Hopefully his lack of love for football was just rumour.
