Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Browns: Myles Garrett, Defensive End, Texas A&M

This makes the most sense for the Browns. Taking Trubisky this high could prove costly.

2. Panthers: Leonard Fournette, Running Back, LSU

Panthers trade up for this pick, trading the #8 overall, 2017 3rd round pick and 2018 2nd round pick. Being scared Fournette doesn't drop to them causes the Panthers to trade up to this pick to secure it.

3. Bears: Jamal Adams, Safety, LSU

The Bears need help, like a lot of help in their secondary and Adams is a huge upgrade to that time.

4. Chargers: Malik Hooker, Safety, Ohio State

Chargers trade the #7 pick, 2018 2nd round pick and 2017 4th round pick. Chargers need a replacement for Eric Weddle and Hooker is that guy.

5. Browns: Mitch Trubisky, Quarterback, North Carolina

Browns trade 12th overall pick, 2017 2nd round pick and 2018 3rd round pick. They trade up to secure Mitchell Trubisky who supposedly fits Hue Jackson's offense.

6. Jets: Marshon Lattimore, Cornerback, Ohio State

The Jets desperately need a CB after Revis played so horribly last year. Lattimore fills a pressing need for the Jets and fills a void left by, well everyone.

7. Jaguars: Solomon Thomas, Defensive End, Stanford

No question marks. Jonathan Allen might have more upside but Thomas has no discipline issues and fills a huge hole for the Jags.

8. 49ers: Jonathan Allen, Defensive Tackle, Alabama

You can never have too many defensive lineman. Allen can play the edge, and if you want him to be a hybrid DE/OLB type, he is athletic enough to do that.

9. Bengals: Reuben Foster, Inside Linebacker, Alabama

Bengals need a LB and Reuben Foster is a guy who is clearly the best LB in the draft and can be a leader on the defense for years to come.

10. Bills: Deshaun Watson, Quarterback, Clemson

They could draft someone like O.J. Howard, Mike Williams or Corey Davis to upgrade the receiving corps but decide on Watson instead. Deshaun Watson is a leader who could polish into something real nice for the Bills.

11. Saints: Marlon Humphrey, Cornerback, Alabama

Saints take Marlon Humphrey because, well, their secondary is and was atrocious. They need all the help they can get back there. My dead grandma could cover better than the guys they had.

12. Titans: Mike Williams, Wide Receiver, Clemson

The Titans take a guy who they could take at #5 but after trading down and getting more picks, they still get their guy and give Marcus Mariota a weapon to throw to.

13. Cardinals: Pat Mahomes, Quarterback, Texas Tech

The Cardinals are looking for a guy to take over once Carson Palmer is done and with QBs going off the board, they take Pat Mahomes a bit earlier than they would like to.

14. Eagles: Christian McCaffrey, Running Back, Stanford

The Eagles need a RB but also need a receiving threat and McCaffrey fills both those needs. They think about taking John Ross but in the end, McCaffrey is a guy who fits the needs a bit more.

15. Colts: Derek Barnett, Defensive End, Tennessee

The Colts need to get more pressure on the QB and Barnett is a guy who gives that to them. With Barnett and Taco Charlton available, the Colts decide on Barnett.

16. Ravens: Cam Robinson, Offensive Tackle, Alabama

This pick just makes sense. The Ravens saw what the Cowboys did buy picking up lineman every year and decide to go that route with picking Robinson.
