If The Season Ended Today Mock Draft *UPDATED DRAFT ORDER*
Published at 12/14/2015 4:11:10 PM

***UPDATED ORDER VIA NFL.com 12/14/15*** *Based On If Season Ended Now* I have a love of football and mock drafts, usually start a few weeks from the playoffs and update all the way until the BIG dance on April 28th. No trades in my mocks this year since it just makes it more confusing. Picks will be made between Best Available and Top Need. I will try and avoid taking O-Lineman with Teams who need much more than a position they can pick up at Free Agency, please follow my mocks up until April. Thanks for the view!

Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Titans: Laremy Tunsil, Offensive Tackle, Ole Miss

Marcus Mariota is one of the Top 5 MOST Sacked Quarterbacks in the NFL this year. Although they have other needs like at LB and several other defensive positions, seeing what Mariota can do with solid protection is scary.... Unfortunately that kind of protection is slim to none in 2015 for the Titans. What made me select Laremy as the 1st overall pick was seeing him handle Myles Garrett like he was a piece of paper and Tunsil was the wind.

2. Browns: Joey Bosa, Defensive End, Ohio State

It seems like most mock drafts have the Browns taking quarterback and using Manziel as a scapegoat, however i will not be one of them. The problem with the Browns is not their quarterback it's their terrible offensive line play and even worse their defense. Now it's not New Orleans or San Francisco bad but adding a elite pass rusher who has had tremendous stats for being suspended part of the year, i think Joey Bosa could be a Watt-esque player in the NFL. Time will tell.

3. Chargers: Emmanuel Ogbah, Defensive End, Oklahoma State

Something and i mean SOMETHING needs to happen with the San Diego defense, opposing quarterbacks are having way too much time to pick apart their secondary. With Liuget being the only LEGIT (See what i did there..) part of their defensive line i believe Ogbah and his 13 sack season could be the wind behind the Chargers sail next season.

4. Ravens: Vernon Hargreaves, Cornerback, Florida

The ravens need secondary help on their defense and i do not see vernon dropping to the Jaguars, not only is this a Top Need pick but also Best Available on the Big Board many people have created.

5. 49ers: Paxton Lynch, Quarterback, Memphis

2015 is the last year that Colin Kaepernick will be on the 49ers, although they are in terrible need of defense they need to have a viable starting QB. Its a honest coin flip for me here between Lynch and Cook because i believe goff is no way close to being a NFL qb. Who knows i may be wrong with where the 49ers go because they have too many needs and not enough first round selections.

6. Cowboys: Connor Cook, Quarterback, Michigan State

With Tony Romo not being as sturdy as what he used to be, you would have to take a guess that Dallas will be selecting their future signal caller here, with Paxton Lynch the Top QB on my big board selected you would think with Cook's recent play if the season ended now that the Cowboys would select the big arm from East Lansing.

7. Lions: Jaylon Smith, Outside Linebacker, Notre Dame

Although the Lions defense has been trying to rush the passer recently the more depth you have to put onto the field the less lazy your defense will get late into games. Jaylon would be best available along with being a Lions need fulfilled.

8. Jaguars: Jalen Ramsey, Cornerback, Florida State

Ramsey has the athleticism with long strides and greater change of direction skills than Hargreaves in my humble opinion. With that being said i believe Ramsey is what the Jaguars could use on a Defense that has given up in the secondary department. With the Jags loving their home state talent

9. Bears: Laquon Treadwell, Wide Receiver, Ole Miss

What do the Bears love? Strong and Physical receivers. With the release of Brandon Marshall decision looking more stupid by the week, the Bears need another wideout who can hold onto the ball and take it to the house. The separation Treadwell can create is what will make the Bears select him with their 9th pick. Who knows, if Kevin White can come back and create havoc you would be looking at the FILTHIEST wide receiver core in the NFL.

10. Rams: Jared Goff, Quarterback, California

Three quarterbacks taken in the top 10? Yes, the Rams need someone who can throw the ball because Todd Gurley can't do it all for this offense. I believe Goff could convert to the Rams run first offense and build confidence with his receivers. It's best available, and even though i am not a fan he could possibly pan out for the Rams.

11. Saints: Mackensie Alexander, Cornerback, Clemson

It is as simple as this, the Saints NEED secondary. Browner can't cover himself with a blanket yet alone cover Julio Jones, OBJ, or Antonio Brown. With Breaux showing he can be a NFL corner i say Alexander could be a future shutdown corner for New Orleans.

12. Giants: Ezekiel Elliott, Running Back, Ohio State

There is something going on with the Nkemdiche brothers that i think will lower their draft stock. If Rashad Jennings, Shane Vereen or whatever a Orleans Darkwa is aren't the answer than you need somebody to take the rock and shove it down a defense's throat. The RBBC thing isn't working for Big Blue and Elliott has the winning attitude that the Giants could definitely use since they haven't had a TRUE running back since Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw in their hey day. Elliott shows power, speed, and offensive knowledge that could take pressure off Odell.

13. Dolphins: Ronnie Stanley, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

Someone.Needs.To.Protect.Tannehill.......

14. Buccaneers: Andrew Billings, Defensive Tackle, Baylor

Pair someone up with Gerald McCoy and you have a defensive nightmare, i see this pick as best available since why overpick a prospect based on your top need. Billings could be a monster on defense and possibly a redzone threat for opposing defenses.

15. Falcons: Jayron Kearse, Safety, Clemson

Jayron Kearse is taller than most receivers and has more power than some of the starting safeties in the NFL. He is raw in some categories but could you imagine him in a defense that needs someone with speed, power and height in a division that has Cam Newton picking his rivals and the rest of the NFL apart.

16. Eagles: Taylor Decker, Offensive Tackle, Ohio State

The Eagles need more help on their offensive line which has been hammered by injuries and wrong offseason decisions. Decker who has strong hands and a fast kick-slide can help the Eagles offense get something going to keep them ahead in games.
