NFL Week 3 Fantasy Football Rankings

To differentiate between all the "Start 'Ems" on my Fantasy Football Start Em, Sit Em page, you can check out the Weekly Fantasy Football Rankings, so you can figure out whom to start between Player X and Player Y.

Below are my fantasy QB rankings and a set of links for my positional Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings. Keep in mind that this list is for this week only; not the entire rest of the season.

The rankings are based on a Traditional scoring system. Each player has Walterfootball.com's projected stats and standard scoring points.

But who do I start...

Updated 9/23/2021 12:48:08 AM - Follow @walterfootball for updates.
  1. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Chiefs (vs. Chargers)- 36 Points
330 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 40 Rushing Yards, 1 TD.
Patrick Mahomes will be looking to redeem himself for Sunday night's loss.

  2. Kyler Murray, QB, Cardinals (at Jaguars)- 35 Points
370 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 40 Rushing Yards, 1 TD.
Jacksonville's terrible defense won't be able to stop Kyler Murray unless Murray throws the ball right to them.

  3. Russell Wilson, QB, Seahawks (at Vikings)- 32 Points
290 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 30 Rushing Yards, 1 TD.
Teams have torched the Vikings through two games.

  4. Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens (at Lions)- 31 Points
240 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 80 Rushing Yards, 1 TD.
Detroit's poor defense will offer no resistance to Lamar Jackson.

  5. Tom Brady, QB, Bucs (at Rams)- 25 Points
300 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs.
Tom Brady's toughest matchup yet, but I think he'll be OK.

  6. Josh Allen, QB, Bills (vs. Redskins)- 24 Points
280 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 70 Rushing Yards.
Josh Allen has played poorly through two weeks, at least by his standards.

  7. Jalen Hurts, QB, Eagles (at Cowboys)- 24 Points
320 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 70 Rushing Yards.
Jalen Hurts will continue to bail out his fantasy owners with his rushing ability.

  8. Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers (at 49ers)- 24 Points
320 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
The 49ers have injury issues at cornerback.

  9. Matthew Stafford, QB, Rams (vs. Buccaneers)- 24 Points
360 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 10 Rushing Yards.
It was exciting to see Matthew Stafford play with good coaching for the first time in his career.

  10. Ryan Tannehill, QB, Titans (vs. Colts)- 24 Points
280 Passing Yards, 3 Pass TDs, 10 Rushing Yards.
Indianapolis' secondary has been weak through two games.

  11. Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys (vs. Eagles)- 23 Points
260 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 40 Rushing Yards.
Dak Prescott didn't have to throw much versus the Chargers. This is a tough matchup.

  12. Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers (at Chiefs)- 22 Points
290 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 30 Rushing Yards.
Justin Herbert should rack up lots of yardage in a comeback attempt.

  13. Kirk Cousins, QB, Vikings (vs. Seahawks)- 22 Points
320 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 10 Rushing Yards.
Seattle's secondary can't cover anyone, making Kirk Cousins a nice play this week.

  14. Justin Fields, QB, Bears (at Browns)- 21 Points
250 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 70 Rushing Yards.
You can start Justin Fields almost any week because of his rushing upside.

  15. Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Broncos (vs. Jets)- 21 Points
300 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs.
Teddy Bridgewater should do well versus the Jets' poor secondary.

  16. Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Steelers (vs. Bengals)- 21 Points
300 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs.
The Steelers can't block, so Pittsburgh's offense is rancid.

  17. Baker Mayfield, QB, Browns (vs. Bears)- 20 Points
290 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 10 Rushing Yards.
Chicago has a shaky cornerback situation.

  18. Daniel Jones, QB, Giants (vs. Falcons)- 19 Points
280 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 60 Rushing Yards.
I wouldn't chase Daniel Jones' rushing stats.

  19. Jared Goff, QB, Lions (vs. Ravens)- 18 Points
290 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Jared Goff will have a nice opportunity for garbage points again.

  20. Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, 49ers (vs. Packers)- 17 Points
240 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.

  21. Joe Burrow, QB, Bengals (at Steelers)- 17 Points
250 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Joe Burrow's matchup will depend on which Steelers are able to play. T.J. Watt missed the second half of last week's game with a groin injury.

  22. Carson Wentz, QB, Colts (at Titans)- 17 Points
290 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Carson Wentz somehow hurt both ankles in Week 2.

  23. Matt Ryan, QB, Falcons (at Giants)- 16 Points
260 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT.
Matt Ryan is not the same without Julio Jones and Alex Mack.

  24. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jaguars (vs. Cardinals)- 16 Points
250 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 2 INTs, 20 Rushing Yards.
This is another tough matchup for Trevor Lawrence.

  25. Jacoby Brissett, QB, Dolphins (at Raiders)- 15 Points
290 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.

  26. Sam Darnold, QB, Panthers (at Texans)- 15 Points
320 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.

  27. Mac Jones, QB, Patriots (vs. Saints)- 15 Points
290 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD.

  28. Derek Carr, QB, Raiders (vs. Dolphins)- 15 Points
290 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD.
Derek Carr's MVP campaign will likely come crashing this week.

  29. Jameis Winston, QB, Saints (at Patriots)- 13 Points
230 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.
Jameis Winston's toughest matchup to date.

  30. Taylor Heinicke, QB, Redskins (at Bills)- 12 Points
230 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.

  31. Trey Lance, QB, 49ers (vs. Packers)- 8 Points
20 Passing Yards, 20 Rushing Yards, 1 TD.

  32. Zach Wilson, QB, Jets (at Broncos)- 7 Points
200 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 3 INTs, 20 Rushing Yards.

  33. Davis Mills, QB, Texans (vs. Panthers)- 7 Points
220 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 2 INTs.
