The Titans currently own the No. 1 overall pick, but because they selected Cam Ward last year, they will look to trade down. The Jets have so many resources to pull the trigger to move up for the top choice.
The Jets obviously need a quarterback. Justin Fields had a great Week 1, but completed only three passes against the Bills. Fields has gotten worse ever since, save for the Cincinnati win. The Jets need to start over, and they can do that with this prospect.
Ty Simpson has won some big games and has thrived with his superb ball placement. He’s an intelligent quarterback who throws with great timing and anticipation.

Pick change; previously Dante Moore, QB
The Saints used a second-round pick on Tyler Shough, but if they have the No. 1, 2, or 3 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Shough most likely will have performed poorly. Either way, the Saints wouldn’t pass on a generational quarterback.
Fernando Mendoza has great size, arm strength, and accuracy. However, he’s raw because the game is too fast for him and he has poor pocket presence as a result.

Pick change; previously Ty Simpson, QB
Here’s another trade. The Raiders are desperate for a quarterback, so they’ll do whatever it takes to move up for one.
Even though ESPN DEI hire Mina Kimes said that Geno Smith is a top-10 NFL quarterback, the Raiders need to find a new franchise signal-caller.
Dante Moore releases the ball quickly and processes everything very well. He makes great plays with his arms and legs, and thanks to his performance at Penn State, he could be the favorite to be the No. 1 overall draft pick.
Pick change; previously LaNorris Sellers, QB
The Browns lost Jedrick Wills, prompting them to sign Cam Robinson. They need a long-term answer at left tackle.
Spencer Fano needs to fill out his frame, but he was stationed at left tackle as a freshman.
The Titans have one of the worst defenses in the NFL. They need to find the best defensive player possible.
Keldric Faulk has been a monster for Auburn. He has a great mix of power and speed on the edge.
The Giants have some poor play in the secondary that they’ll need to address soon.
Mansoor Delane is very instinctive with nice size.
The Dolphins have looked like the worst team in the NFL at times this year, and part of that is Tua Tagovailoa’s incompetence. I don’t know if it’s because of all the concussions he’s suffered over the years, but Tagovailoa didn’t look like a viable player in the NFL. Perhaps he’ll turn things around, but he was so bad that he was benched versus Cleveland. Miami will likely have to draft a new franchise quarterback.
LaNorris Sellers has a huge skill set and could be drafted earlier than this if he lives up to his potential.
Pick change; previously Fernando Mendoza, QB
The Redskins have a poor defense. They need lots of help in the secondary.
Caleb Downs projects as one of the top play-making safeties in the NFL in several years.
The Bengals have severe issues throughout their defense, so taking the best player on that side of the ball makes sense.
Peter Woods is a disruptive interior lineman.
Davante Adams is 33, while Cooper Kupp is gone. The Rams need a receiver for the future.
Jordyn Tyson is a speedy, explosive receiver with quality size.
Even if Will Johnson pans out, the Cardinals will need another cornerback to go with him and Garrett Williams.
The younger brother of A.J. Terrell, Avieon Terrell is a very instinctive cornerback who plays bigger than his 5-foot-11 size.
The Cowboys gave up 450 passing yards to Russell Wilson and then allowed Caleb Williams to have the best performance of his career. Dallas’ miserable defense needs help at every level.
Rueben Bain was very productive as a freshman and has a ton of upside.
The Ravens have a lackluster pass rush, so they need all the help they can get in that regard to improve their defense.
David Bailey is a fast edge rusher with great potential.
The Vikings could stand to improve at cornerback, so that position must be addressed soon.
Brandon Cisse has been an impressive cover cornerback. He has nice size and plus speed and athleticism.
Pick change; previously Kayden Proctor, OT
The Texans need to make sure that C.J. Stroud’s blocking is as good as possible.
Jude Bowry is an athletic tackle with plenty of upside and toughness.
The Panthers have the worst linebacker play in the NFL, so perhaps they’ll rectify that problem with this pick.
Arvell Reese is a special player because of his incredible instincts and athleticism.
