I was not as impressed with Bolles as I thought I would be. The guy that followed him in every drill, Ben Braden from Michigan, looked steady, with good technique, and performed well athletically at 6'6, 329. Makes me want to go back and watch tape on him. I wouldn't spend a high pick on Bolles. If I was going to draft someone, I would go for Garcia, Davenport, or even Moton for RT, and try and sign one of the FA tackles. Here is my concern....I don't think Bolles is a better prospect than Matt Kalil was a few years back, and that didn't work out that well for the Vikes, as he is one of the FA tackles. Plus Bolles is 25.
@Federale - Kalil was drafted 4th overall, so he was obviously a top prospect, and part of his issues with the Vikings have been injuries. He didn't miss any games until last year, but he played through knee injuries that eventually required multiple surgeries.
At the Senior Bowl, Jaleel Johnson's top speed (19 MPH) was supposedly faster than any of the RBs, but then he ran a crappy 40 at the combine. So I was wondering what he would do at his Pro Day. Does anyone know when Iowa is having one? The Pro Day schedules I've found on line done have Iowa listed.
Walt is there anyway you could comment on the numbers of each drill? Ive been a football fan for about 20 years and im finally starting to pay attention to combine and college players(i know, a little late). I would like to learn more and hear your thoughts on how well, or not well each player did.. I have no idea what these numbers(times, reps) mean in contrast to what is expected of the athlete. Is there guys moving up cause of how well they did, or down? I'm really starting to love the combine stuff just dont understand it all that well.
Why are the heights being listed this way instead of the traditional four digit format? this way sucks and is less precise (im assuming youre rounding them off to the nearest inch?). Please change it back, you've always done it the right way in the past.
CBS sports has D. Watson @ 6'2" M. Trubisky @ 6' 3" not sure why there is different results being its the combine it should read the same I think you flipped Trubisky and Watson

Check out Chris Landry's website and follow him on Twitter, he used to be a professional scout. He sheds a lot of insight on the matter.

I don't have all the 4-digit measurements at the moment, but I'll change it when I do

@JrJr you clearly don't know anything about football.
Just google it, instead of being wrong.
