OT Jacob Sacra (Baltimore, MD) commits to East Carolina View Class
Sacra (6-5, 305) is a big tackle prospect with high upside, and he goes to one of the top programs in the nation. All together, he's a very nice get for East Carolina. Sacra has college-ready size, which is a nice addition for a Group of Five school. He has also moved around on the line and could immediately fill a glaring hole as he continues to develop. Sacra gets off the snap well and is good as the point of contact. He moves his legs and grades out well as a run blocker. His pass blocking is a work in progress, but he'll get a lot better quickly playing at a FBS pipeline like St. Frances Academy.
Jacob Sacra's Player Grade: C+
OL Ethan Lang (Bradenton, FL) commits to East Carolina View Class
Lang (6-3, 317) is quite an unfinished product, but spending a year at IMG Academy should help him work on the areas that need improvement. He moves well laterally and shows some active footwork, even though he can get a little careless with his feet at times. Lang's technique is pretty good, surely a byproduct of the coaching he has received at IMG Academy. He is a solid prospect, but has limited upside and I don't think he can offer much in the way of tackle depth - Lang is a pure interior player. He does have pretty good strength.
