Mateer (6-2, 200) was committed to Central Arkansas until he received a Washington State offer. After an official visit, Mateer made the flip. I am curious to see how Mateer handles a higher-volume passing attack than the one he had in high school. There are some mechanical issues with Mateer's release, and the ball doesn't come out of his hand cleanly. But Mateer has a decent foundation as a playmaker and a guy who will extend the play with timely movement. He could be someone to keep an eye on in 2-3 years.

John Mateer's Player Grade: C

Lateef (6-4, 290) is listed as an offensive tackle, but he's going to be a guard in college. Lateef shows good short-space strength, and I like his competitive nature going one-on-one with a defensive lineman. Lateef is okay in terms of his movement and is a little stiff when it comes to bending, but he's powerful, tough and ready to battle. Lateef is strong off the snap and tough in the run game. I like the way Lateef is eager to punch a guy in the mouth and get to the second level. There may not be a lot of flash in Lateef's game, but there is plenty of substance.

Jihad Lateef's Player Grade: C+
