Either way, the Dolphins aren’t going to pass on a franchise quarterback atop the 2027 NFL Draft.

I’m not breaking any news by telling you that the Jets are desperate for a quarterback. Mina Kimes believes that Geno Smith is a top-10 quarterback, but we all know that’s not the case. The Jets will have to obtain a franchise quarterback in the next two drafts.

Dante Moore releases the ball quickly and processes everything very well. He makes great plays with his arms and legs, and thanks to his performance at Penn State, he could be the favorite to be the second quarterback in the 2027 NFL Draft.

The Raiders failed to upgrade their receivers in the 2026 NFL Draft. Luckily for them, the 2027 NFL Draft class looks loaded at the position.

Jeremiah Smith has top-five ability with his size, speed, athleticism, and production.

The Titans passed on Arvell Reese in favor of Carnell Tate. They’ll need to bolster their pass rush some other way, and perhaps they’ll do that with the a top-five pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.

Dylan Stewart was very productive at the beginning of his collegiate career. He possesses extreme upside.

Kyler Murray is gone, but he was a colossal disappointment anyway. Perhaps after he fails in Minnesota, he can retire and live his dream of being a full-time video game streamer. He won’t be nearly as great as Kastaclysm, but he could be pretty solid in that regard.

Jayden Maiava has a very quick release and terrific accuracy. He also has plus mobility, but must stop his tendency to lock on to his first read for too long.

Drake London is great, but he’s all the Falcons have at the position. They’ve needed a second receiver since the days when they had Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley.

Cam Coleman has great size to go with his ridiculous speed and athleticism.

The Browns will likely give Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders one year to prove themselves. I’m not bullish on their chances, despite Sanders “qualifying” for the Pro Bowl.

Nico Iamaleava transferred from Tennessee to UCLA due to a family issue. He has plus arm strength and rushing ability.

It was very nice of the Steelers to fulfill Mike McCarthy’s Make a Wish dream of becoming Steelers head coach, but Pittsburgh will be looking for a new head coach and a new quarterback next spring.

John Mateer is very accurate and mobile. Charlie Campbell’s sources compare Mateer to Baker Mayfield.

The Giants signed Greg Newsome, but they’re still in need of a true No. 1 shutdown cornerback.

Leonard Moore is a big cornerback with a strong skill set with plus size and speed, but has dealt with injuries.

Aside from Tom Brady, the primary reason why the Buccaneers won the Super Bowl five years ago was their pass rush. They need to improve that area because they no longer get to the quarterback nearly as well. Rueben Bain was drafted, but the Buccaneers could use one more stud pass rusher.

Yhonzae Pierre is a dangerous edge rusher with great speed and physicality.

The Panthers upgraded their pass rush this offseason with the Jaelan Phillips signing, but they could stand to get even better with their pass rush if they can obtain one of the best defenders in the 2027 NFL Draft.

Collin Simmons has flashed explosive pass-rushing ability with a non-stop motor. He needs to bulk up for the pros.

The Jets just drafted Omar Cooper, but they could use a more dynamic threat across from Garrett Wilson, giving Arch Manning three great downfield threats at his disposal.

Ryan Williams needs to get stronger for the NFL, but he has top-10 upside. He has terrific speed and plus route-running ability.

The Jets signed Demario Davis, but he’s nearing 40, so the Jets will need to find some youth at linebacker.

Sammy Brown is a versatile and instinctive linebacker.

The Vikings drafted Caleb Banks and Domonique Orange, but they still need more talent on their weak defensive line.

David Stone has great athleticism for someone with his size and length. His motor is relentless. He needs to improve a bit in his pass-rushing technique, and there are some off-the-field issues with him.

It shouldn’t surprise anyone if the Cowboys pursue defensive ends in two consecutive first rounds.

John Henry Daley still needs to fill out his frame, but he has a great blend of power and quickness. His motor is relentless.

The Chiefs have nothing at receiver outside of Rashee Rice, and there’s no guarantee that Rice stays out of jail.

Nick Marsh is a big receiver with plenty of potential. He runs 4.3 and explodes after the catch. He drops way too many passes, however, and his route running is a concern.

The Redskins wanted to upgrade their pass rush in the opening round of the 2026 NFL Draft, but couldn’t pass up on Sonny Styles.

Will Heidt has good size and upside.

The Broncos lost John Franklin-Myers to the Titans, so they’ll have to find a replacement soon.

Quincy Rhodes should be able to play defensive end in the 4-3 and five-tech in the 3-4. He has good size and length, but isn’t overly athletic and doesn’t have amazing upside.

The Saints could stand to add another edge rusher with Cameron Jordan no longer with the team.

Suntarine Perkins is a dangerous pass rusher, but needs to bulk up for the NFL. He’s terrific in coverage and may be an Isaiah Simmons-type tweener.

The Bears need to add multiple upgrades to a defensive line that finished dead last in the NFL in sacks.

Will Echoles has a good blend of quickness, athleticism, and strength.

Trey Hendrickson is no longer on Cincinnati’s roster, though we do like him to win 2026 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. Cincinnati needs a replacement.

Matayo Uiagalelei has a great combination of size, strength, and athleticism. He’s a bit raw, though, and needs to improve his pass-rushing technique.

Tank Dell may not do anything ever again. Jayden Higgins showed some flashes, but he’s no sure thing either.

Charlie Becker can stretch defenses downfield with his big-play ability. He’s also a massive receiver, but his route running is a weakness.

The Jaguars have been trying to replace Calais Campbell for nearly a decade. Perhaps they’ll finally do it with this pick.

A’Mauri Washington is a big nose tackle who has surprising athleticism for someone his size.

The Lions really like Keldric Faulk, but will have to pass on him for a tackle. Here’s another bookend for Aidan Hutchinson.

Boubacar Traore is extremely talented and has loads of potential. He still needs to fill out his frame.

Lane Johnson will retire soon, so the Eagles will need to find a successor.

Wilkin Formby is a massive tackle with loads of upside.

The Patriots have lost some talented safeties lately, so they’ll need to find a replacement.

K.J. Bolden is a gifted safety with low 4.3 speed, but needs to bulk up for the pros.

The 49ers could stand to get better at cornerback.

D.J. McKinney has nice size and quality ball skills.

Ronnie Stanley will be a 33-year-old entering his contract season when the 2027 NFL Draft arrives.

Jordan Seaton is a terrific athlete for a huge tackle. He pass protects extremely well, but needs to improve his run blocking.

Rashawn Slater suffered a brutal injury and may never be the same again. If he struggles with his health again, the Chargers may want to add a new tackle.

Brandon Baker has plenty of talent and upside, but must work on his technique.

The Seahawks met with plenty of cornerbacks and edge rushers ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft, so perhaps they’ll address one of those positions during the 2027 NFL Draft.

Chris Peal is a big and fast cornerback who doesn’t miss tackles, but his ball skills aren’t great.

Like Ronnie Stanley, Dion Dawkins will be a 33-year-old entering his contract season when the 2027 NFL Draft arrives.

Cayden Green is a smart and powerful run blocker, but his footwork can get sloppy in pass protection.

The Rams had cornerback issues during the 2025 season. They added some cornerbacks this offseason, but could still be interested in another one.

Zabien Brown has tremendous upside to be a No. 1 cornerback in the NFL. He’s very fast and has great instincts, but is light and needs to bulk up for the NFL.

Andrew Sprague is a big and lengthy tackle with plus athleticism. His pass protection is ahead of his run blocking.

The Browns could use a bookend for Myles Garrett and an eventual replacement for the future Hall of Famer.

Jordan Ross is an athletic, lengthy pass rusher, but must get stronger and fill out his frame.

The Steelers have a bunch of mediocre running back, so they could look into acquiring a permanent solution at the position.

Nate Frazier runs with blazing 4.3 speed and does a great job of breaking through tackles. He needs to improve his pass protection and ball security.
