Best time to play the Pats is week 1. I dont hold much hope, but the Fins (apart from last season) usually put it up to the Pats.

is there anybody whos NOT dolphins fan who thinks they can win this game? as a real miami dolphins fans they're one of the most frustrating teams to watch because they'll beat the super bowl champs one week then lose to the browns the next. i think that miami has a chance to win in every game they play and as long as henne can limit his mistakes and not allow himself to get rattled, they'll be able to win

prediction MIA 22 - NE 21

I think Henne comes out and is surprisingly effective in the first 3 weeks of the season including this game. That said, the fish just don't have enough on the ball to win this game.

Silver lining for the Dolphins fans though, Henne completes 60% of his passes for 220 yds, 2 TDS, No Picks. They then go on to barely edge out the Texans and trounce the hapless Browns.

Won't be close. Fish suck. Wake will probably have his way with whoever he lines up against but Brady is just too good to let that bother him. He knows how to deal with the pass rush. As for New England's D, there are the stars like Wilfork, Warren, Mayo and McCourty who people know about, but other than that its a bunch of no names who are really going to surprise some people. Dolphins fans, you know about no name defenses, don't you?

being a huge patriots homer i am a little biased but there are multiple factors pulling in favor of the patriots. First the QB situation in Miami is unstable and so is the RB situation. Second the Patriots defense is one year older meaning that all those rookies last year will all have one more year in the system. And third this is a chess matchup between Sporano who is probably in his last season as Miami's coach and a scorned BB who is pissed off about how last season ended. my prediction: Dolphins 17 Patriots 28

Yea, I'm homering but I really belive the Dolphins are going to pull the upset.

The Dolphins SHOULD be extra motivated for the Patriots after the epic debaclation that happened to end the season when the Pats shat on the Dolphins. If they are truely behind Sperano he should have no problem getting them extra pumped up for this game and have us come out like it's our Super Bowl.

In the week 4 game, Miami was in control for the first half but two stupid Henne interceptions took points off the board and kept the Pats in the game. The Phins pass rush was booming and we looked like a quality team up to that point. It wasn't until the the ST decided to fail at life by allowing a block punt, and a block field goal when the Patriots began to take over.

In the week 17 game, the defense was playing great and even forced a turnover(the Pats first turnover in almost 7 weeks). It wasn't until they saw how stangnet the offense was behind Henne was when the defense said "screw it if they don't care about this game then we don't either." The Patriots then began to destroy us and of course to top it all off we gave up another punt return for a TD.

I'm unsure that the Dolphins will win this game, but I think it's going to be a lot closer then people will expect, and Brady has struggled in Miami throughout his career. If Henne and that offense can show up and surpise(there's a good chance they won't but he lets be optimistic, it's week 1!) I think Miami has a serious chance at winning this game.

Finally, it's not like the Patriots will be totally focused in on this game, they beat us by a combined score of 79-21 in the two games last season and have the Chargers after. I'm taking the homer route and going with us. Also before anyone says I'm a delusional homer(which I proly am anyways) I just wanna say we're probably gonna lose our next two games after as we've found epic ways to lose against the Texans and Browns so I don't see how anything changes there.

The Pats luck out that this is a night game. The heat shouldn't be too bad. I agree though, New England should crush Miami.
