Love the Colts but, just don't see a Colts win in this game. I think it will be a closer game than last years opener (less than7). The Texans will need this game more than the Colts for confidence and division home game. Now if the Texans for some reason come into this game thinking "we trashed the Colts here last year" then the Colts will leave Houston with the "W"

This game is a toss up. Because of Manning's neck, ill take the Texans with a chip on their shoulders.

Normally I'd give this to the Colts, but I just don't trust Manning's neck. Normally I wouldn't worry, but he is getting older, it could be an issue. The Texans should improve, I give them a 31-28 win.

I think the Colts will win this one because of 2 reasons;

1. Indianapolis will be prepared to defend the run. Last year Indie was shocked by Foster and Leech in the run game. With the new LBs playing for India, Connor, and Anger the run game should be slowed down. I say less then 120 yards rushing.

2. Houston is adjusting to a new Defensive scheme. With the 3-4 Houston LBS are have to think more and can't really pass cover. The December game will be more close though.

Final score: Indianapolis 34-17

Of course the condition of Manning is everything in this contest. If he's fine, more veteran Indy squad should prevail. Texans score a bunch and give up a bunch. Has anything really changed? I'm thinking 6 point teaser with the dog(if there is one) and teasing the total down and going OVER. Just for fun Indy 27 Texans 24

Indy runs such a precise timing offense I have trouble seeing them in synch for the first few weeks. If Houston can get some secondary help in free agency, they could win this one.

I'm hoping for another Week 1 win. Peyton Manning will be expected to have a slow start missing some/all training camp with his neck issues. I don't think it will affect him too much over the course of the season, but Week 1 will practically be preseason for him. Plus, you can't expect Castanzo and Ijalana to be effective right out of the gate.

I'm expecting Wade's magic to prevail here. (Also, given that it wouldn't be the first offseason violation by Houston, I would be downright stunned if Wade hadn't already had some secret meetings/conversations with key Texans defenders to help put the 5-2 Elephant defense in place)

I want the texans to win this one. I hope their new 3-4 defense and the new pieces would play well. Hopefully Super Mario would turn out into a demarcus ware like player in a 3-4.
