2012 Senior Bowl: Wednesday North Practice Report
Audie Cole, ILB, N.C. State Audie Cole had another really nice practice, as he stood out in the one-on-one drills. He could be making his way toward the second round.
Vinny Curry, DE/OLB, Marshall Another up-and-down practice for Vinny Curry, who easily beat Kevin Zeitler, but then was stonewalled by Kelechi Osemele when lining up inside.
"There's a little buzz going on about him," said Mike Mayock. "He doesn't do anything great, but he does everything well. That motor is going to get him into the second round."
Alfonzo Dennard, CB, Nebraska Two cornerbacks bounced back from a rough start to this week. Alfonzo Dennard made a really nice pass break-up on Brian Quick on seven-on-sevens.
Donnie Fletcher, CB, Boston College The other corner who rebounded was Donnie Fletcher, who hit hard and excelled in the run-blocking drill. Mike Mayock noted that onlookers like it when prospects improve off a bad start.
"Fletcher struggled Monday," Mayock said. "But I thought he came back yesterday and got a bit of a buzz when he got his hands on people."
Cam Johnson, DE, Virginia Cam Johnson has enjoyed some very good Senior Bowl practices. Mike Mayock took note of this.
"Cam Johnson is interesting," Mayock said. "I don't know where you line him up, but he's had a really good week."
Mike Martin, DT, Michigan Mike Martin wasn't as dominant as he was Tuesday, but he still stood out with some solid performances in the one-on-ones. He's probably helped himself more than anybody at the Senior Bowl. He's listed in the third round of today's 2012 NFL Mock Draft update, but I may have to move him up next week.
Kellen Moore, QB, Boise State Another poor outing for Kellen Moore. All I'm hearing is "he's the next Tyler Palko." If you watched the Chiefs this year, you know that's not a good thing.
Chris Polk, RB, Washington The Sun Tan Man suggested that Chris Polk has hurt himself more than any running back this week, and I couldn't agree more. Perhaps it's the weight he recently put on, but he looks really slow on the field.
Mitchell Schwartz, OT, California Right tackle Mitchell Schwartz caught my eye when he made some nice blocks in the one-on-ones on Monday, but I didn't mention him. He stood out again today, prompting Mike Mayock to compliment him.
"Schwartz is going to force me to do some more tapework on him," Mayock said. "He's a better athlete than I thought."

You're the only douche that says Landry Jones didn't imimprove his stock this week...
NFL scouts on NFL Network disagree with your ignorance.

"At Notre Dame, Te'o played in a 4-3 defense."
Did he really?

Kuechly built for the pass? Dude is an outstanding run defender, but sucks against the pass. QB's had a 97.5 passer rating against him. He was targeted 55 times and gave up 45rec for close to 450 yards and two TD's. As for Te'o he was not even close to the best defender. Dude is all hype, he is a story from the most famous all hype team ever. The guy is a story and that is it. Kuechly got over drafted but is solid. Te'o is a total nut with a below average skill set, first round. Like scouts have a clue, if they did you would not have so many draft busts.
What ?!?

The 2013 draft class is weak on the inside of the offensive line, so Quessenberry could easily continue to rise. He has the ability to play guard and center.
------ Really ? Isn't there two potential top 15 Guards and even Warford could sneak into late round 1 consideration .

Gotta love Jordan Mills fighting until the whistle. Every O-line needs a tough SOB like that to keep plays alive AND frustrate the defense.

I like this Gillislee kid. I can see him tearing it up in Cincy. With A.J. Green and Marvin Jones demanding safety coverage, he should be able to make some big plays on short passes and edge runs.

Why go with T. Wilson in the first round? Go take Carr in the 3rd-4th or someone like him and save some higher picks for more important positions.

This doesn't sound like an interview. It sounds like you were standing next to a reporter and wrote down two things Monte Kiffin said.

Tony Jefferson in a radio interview dispelled your bogus rumor, saying OU coaches have contacted him. Quotes from his interview:
"I knew my coaches would never say anything like that. One, because it wasn't true. Two, my coaches aren't like that." "My coaches are good guys and we've always had a good relationship." Nice "inside information", Waltie.

It's called a backup QB. There are a lot of rumors they want to get rid of Flynn. Then they'd need a QB in case Wilson gets hurt. Why not add a guy who can at least move the ball up the field?

Fvck you guy. Tyler Wilson had to carry whatever was left of the team bobby petrino left in dismay. Two concussions this year to sh!tty o-line play (2 walk-ons starting), john l f'ing smith as head coach, and not to mention the worst defense in Razorback history. And he still might be the top quarterback taken. Are people so quick to forget Arkansas finished ranked 5th last year, mostly because of Tyler Wilson. Who likes Tyler Wilson, I sure as hell do.
