Quick Feet 7.0 C.O.D 7.0 Flexibility 6.5 Coordination 7.0 |
Brown is an excellent athlete. He displays outstanding quickness, agility, and balance. He runs hard through the middle and has very quick feet to bounce it to the outside if need be. Brown changes direction very quickly and is great at making people miss. His coordination and balance makes it look like he is just gliding through the defense.

Clutch Play 7.0 Production 7.5 Consistency 7.0 Team Player 7.0 Pride/Quit 7.0 |
Brown is a fierce competitor and you can see it when he runs the ball; very determined and focused. His production has been out of this world especially with a 2000+yard season this year. Even over the past couple of years his production was solid with half the carries. Brown is consistent and was only under a 100 yards twice on the season and he still averaged 4.3 and 3.4 YPC respectively.

Learn/Retain
7.0
Inst/Reaction 7.5 Concentration 7.0 |
Brown is an intelligent player with a great recognition of what the defense is trying to do. He picks up the blitz well on passing downs. Brown shows great instincts in the running game and finds the creases well which allows him to glide around the field picking up huge chunks of yards.

Durability 7.5 Explosion 7.0 Play Strength 7.0 |
Brown has very good size for a RB but could benefit from a little extra muscle mass. His durability is excellent; Brown carried the ball 367 times for an average of 28 carries per game. Brown displays outstanding explosion through the holes and attempted tackles, he plays much stronger than 210 suggests.

| Brown is an outstanding athlete with outstanding running skills, vision, durability, toughness, and consistency. His ability to carry the ball so many times and still be consistently successful is his biggest plus side. He blocks very well and is very intelligent when it comes to recognizing the defense. | Brown's only downside that I can find is his smaller size; at 210 lbs it makes me wonder if he will be able to endure all the hits from bigger faster defenders as an every down back. | |||||||||||
| SUMMARY | ||||||||||||
| Donald Brown is an outstanding prospect at running back for the NFL. He is a little undersized but I don't think that will stop him from being very productive right off the bat. Brown will get into an NFL weight training program and will put on some muscle and that will only make him more dangerous. His intelligence and instincts at RB make him very scary with the ball. Brown is very elusive and he will be a great complimentary RB to make a good 1-2 punch. I also believe Brown will be an excellent KR because of his vision and cutback ability. | ||||||||||||
