NFL Team Logo for Panthers Carolina Panthers: Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina Image for

The Panthers don’t have any speed at receiver. They need some players at the position who can separate.

Xavier Legette has been a rising prospect. He is a massive receiver and has good speed for his size.

If you haven’t visited the site in a while, you may have noticed the new look. Yes, after nearly two decades, we’ve finally re-designed our site to be more modern. This was not done on a whim, but rather out of necessity because of what occurred during the 2023 NFL Draft. Our site crashed during the entire first day of the draft, which was disastrous for our revenue stream because we make more money during the draft than any other time. The site crashed because a line of code conflicted with the old format of the site, so we had to transition to this new look.

Because we lost so much money during the draft, I want to point out that you can really help support the site by paying for the ad-free version of it at the top. It’s $7.99 per month, but you’ll get a super-fast site with no ads. If you don’t want to pay, please spread the word about the site through word of mouth. That would also be a big help!

Follow @walterfootball for updates.

Also, if you’d like to support the site, check out my book! It’s available on Amazon, and it’s called A Safety and a Field Goal.

Take a look:

A Safety and a Field Goal

You can buy it here. It has some NFL Draft-related topics, so like I said, if you want to support the site, this is a great way to do it!

NFL Team Logo for Patriots New England Patriots: Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon Image for ORE

It almost doesn’t matter who’s at quarterback; the Patriots need to improve their dreadful receiving corps.

Troy Franklin has great size and the ability to be an underneath receiver.

NFL Team Logo for Cardinals Arizona Cardinals: Jared Verse, DE, Florida State Image for FSU

The Cardinals have lost so much front-seven talent in recent years. They’ll need to obtain some new players who can generate pressure on the quarterback.

Jared Verse has nice athleticism and a steady motor.

Pick change; previously Jordan Morgan, OT

NFL Team Logo for Commanders Washington Commanders: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson Image for Clem

The Redskins had one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL last year, so they’ll have to focus on upgrading their secondary.

Nate Wiggins is a tall cornerback with plus athleticism and quickness.

NFL Team Logo for Chargers Los Angeles Chargers: Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan Image for MICH

The Chargers have great edge talent, but they could stand to improve the interior of their defensive line.

Like his father, Kris Jenkins Jr. is a disruptive interior presence.

NFL Team Logo for Titans Tennessee Titans: Junior Colson, LB, Michigan Image for MICH

The Titans have such issues at linebacker that they signed Kenneth Murray to be a starter. That won’t end well.

Junior Colson is a big linebacker who defends the run well.

NFL Team Logo for Panthers Carolina Panthers: Ennis Rakestraw Jr., CB, Missouri Image for Mizz

The Panthers lost Donte Jackson in the Diontae Johnson trade, so here’s a replacement at cornerback.

Ennis Rakestraw is a versatile defensive back with quality size.

NFL Team Logo for Commanders Washington Commanders: Kiran Amegadjie, OT, Yale Image for

It would be irresponsible of the Redskins to draft a quarterback at No. 2 and not provide him with a better left tackle than what they have now.

Kiran Amegadjie is a bit of a project, but he’s a big and lengthy prospect with a good skill set.

NFL Team Logo for Packers Green Bay Packers: Chris Braswell, OLB, Alabama Image for ALA

The Packers could stand to add another front-seven player to help defeat the Lions and their great offensive line.

Chris Braswell has huge upside as someone who has rotated with other talented edge rushers at Alabama.

NFL Team Logo for Texans Houston Texans: Payton Wilson, LB, N.C. State Image for NC State

The Texans lost some talent at linebacker this offseason, so they’ll have to find replacements early in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Payton Wilson has had mixed evaluations. He flew all over the field for N.C. State.

Pick change; previously Braden Fiske, DT

NFL Team Logo for Falcons Atlanta Falcons: Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida Image for FLA

The Falcons have nothing at receiver outside of Drake London and Darnell Mooney, if you can count him.

Ricky Pearsall has plus speed and route-running ability.

NFL Team Logo for Raiders Las Vegas Raiders: Patrick Paul, OT, Houston Image for Houst

The Raiders really wanted Paris Johnson in the 2023 NFL Draft, but the Cardinals sniped him off the board via trade. Here’s another tackle.

Patrick Paul has plus athleticism and length.

NFL Team Logo for Saints New Orleans Saints: Cam Hart, CB, Notre Dame Image for ND

The Saints struggled at cornerback across from Marshon Lattimore, so the position could be addressed soon.

Cam Hart is a big cornerback who limited Marvin Harrison Jr.

NFL Team Logo for Colts Indianapolis Colts: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas Image for Tex

There are rumors the Colts could trade for A.J. Brown. If they don’t get a deal done, they may spend an early pick on a receiver.

Xavier Worthy is a shifty receiver with good length.

NFL Team Logo for Giants New York Giants: Cooper Beebe, G, Kansas State Image for KSU

It would be a huge mistake for the Giants not to address their dreadful offensive line.

Cooper Beebe is excellent in pass protecion.

NFL Team Logo for Jaguars Jacksonville Jaguars: Ruke Orhorhoro, DT, Clemson Image for Clem

Jacksonville needs as much talent as possible up front to pressure the talented quarterbacks in their division.

Ruke Orhorhoro has a nice frame and decent upside, and he can play in both the 4-3 and 3-4.

NFL Team Logo for Bengals Cincinnati Bengals: T'Vondre Sweat, DT, Texas Image for Tex

Cincinnati had one of the worst run defenses in the NFL this past season.

T’Vondre Sweat is a massive player and a great athlete for a player his size. He has drawn comparisons to Jordan Davis.

Pick change; previously Kamren Kinchens, S

NFL Team Logo for Eagles Philadelphia Eagles: Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia Image for UGA

The Eagles have two stud receivers, but nothing beyond them. They need a better third wideout.

Ladd McConkey projects as a gritty slot receiver at the next level.

NFL Team Logo for Steelers Pittsburgh Steelers: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas Image for Tex

Diontae Johnson is gone, so the Steelers will need to find a new receiver.

Adonai Mitchell has mismatch size and speed. He has huge upside.

NFL Team Logo for Rams Los Angeles Rams: Zach Frazier, C, West Virginia Image for WVU

The Rams need to shore up their offensive line by adding one more interior player.

Zach Frazier is a solid pass protector who can play guard and center.

NFL Team Logo for Eagles Philadelphia Eagles: Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia Image for UGA

The Eagles had horrific play from their cornerbacks this year. They’ll need to address the position on multiple occasions this offseason.

Kamari Lassiter has the upside to be a cover cornerback in the NFL.

NFL Team Logo for Browns Cleveland Browns: Malachi Corley, WR, Western Kentucky Image for

The Browns traded for Jerry Jeudy, but they’ve met with a bunch of receivers ahead of the draft, indicating that they’re looking for another wideout.

Malachi Corley lacks height, but is a thickly built receiver.

Pick change; previously Jonah Elliss, DE

NFL Team Logo for Dolphins Miami Dolphins: Braden Fiske, DT, Florida State Image for FSU

The Dolphins need defensive line help in the wake of losing Christian Wilkins and others this offseason.

Braden Fiske is a quick, athletic interior pass rusher.

Pick change; previously Roger Rosengarten, OT

Trey Benson is a tough downhill runner who showed off unexpected athleticism at the combine.

NFL Team Logo for Buccaneers Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M Image for TA&M

The Buccaneers lost Devin White this offseason. Lavonte David doesn’t have much time remaining. Linebacker help is needed.

The Packers have issues at safety that they needed to address earlier.

Cole Bishop makes plays all over the field.

NFL Team Logo for Texans Houston Texans: Javon Bullard, CB/S, Georgia Image for UGA

The Texans could stand to add defensive back help to allow them to defend Jacksonville’s talented receivers. .

Javon Bullard is a safety or a nickel cornerback who projects similarly to Chauncey Gardner-Johnson.

NFL Team Logo for Bills Buffalo Bills: Marshawn Kneeland, DE, Western Michigan Image for

Marshawn Kneeland wasn’t overly productive at Western Michigan, but looked good at the Senior Bowl.

NFL Team Logo for Lions Detroit Lions: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State Image for FSU

Jameson Williams has been a big disappointment thus far. The Lions need another receiver with Josh Reynolds gone.

Keon Coleman is a massive receiver with quickness and good ball skills.

NFL Team Logo for Ravens Baltimore Ravens: Roger Rosengarten, OT, Washington Image for Wash

The Ravens lost three offensive linemen this offseason, so they’ll have to find some blockers in the early rounds.

Roger Rosengarten protected Michael Penix’s blind side well. He has the potential to play guard as well.

Pick change; previously Malachi Corley, WR

NFL Team Logo for 49ers San Francisco 49ers: Ja'Lynn Polk, WR, Washington Image for Wash

There’s talk of the 49ers possibly trading Brandon Aiyuk, so here’s a potential replacement.

Ja’Lynn Polk has a nice blend of size, speed, and route-running ability.

NFL Team Logo for Chiefs Kansas City Chiefs: Jermaine Burton, WR, Alabama Image for ALA

Receiver was a big need for the Chiefs even before Rashee Rice’s off-the-field problems.

Jermaine Burton didn’t produce at Georgia, but bad quarterback play hurt him.
