You left out the part about the Lions dropping 4 picks thrown right into there hands. This was also some of the most one sided officiting ive seen since Dwade in the 2006 playoffs/finals. Im sorry but after the lions game the tackling was so bad that i hope they grab vontaze in the first round in the draft. He is a top ten talent that is gonna fall in the draft because of things that he can change in the nfl. In rounds 2 through 4 they can get as many O line as they need, and then they should grab a corner, hopefully cliff harris if he falls that far. i know the secondary was bad but what can you expect when the play the number 1 offense in the saints.

I have to say the 4 dropped interceptions by Detroit made a huge difference as well.

Note: Broncos WRs suck because its much harder to catch a Tebow "spiral" than an actual quaterbacks.

Greg, for the love of God, enough already. You seem like a knowledgeable enough guy, but these write-ups are unbearable. There is nothing in them that I couldn't get from a box score. Readers want insights into the game, not a narrative of the key events. Take a cue from Walt. Some descripion of the events coupled with quick bullet points. I think you could be good at it, but as it stands when I see the name "Greg Cox," I just sigh and scroll to the next game.

These recaps are much better than Walts. More detailed. For example, nearly every week for the 9ers recap Walt writes some stupid unrelated quip for a paragraph or so, throws in a sarcastic comment and that's it. These are great.

Terrence Newman was atrocious. In the first three drives Eli literally targeted him on every pass to the point that he was benched for the nearly as terrible Alan Ball. Sean Lee was the only Cowboy who showed up on that defense.
