    I normally don't bet on Andy Reid in the preseason, but there's a caveat here. The Eagles will be playing their starters into the third quarter because they can't do that next week. Thanks to a schedule screw-up, Philadelphia takes on the Browns next weekend as well as Week 1 of the regular season. In other words, Reid will be treating this like Week 3 of the exhibition campaign, which is when he usually does very well.

    @Newbie I was right there with you man. I hammered Illinois when the line came out at -5.5 and wanted to jam a pen in my eyeball while Illinois blew that 13 point second half lead. Then overtime. Then double OT and the basketball gods finally stopped toying with our emotions! Eesh

    To the Vegas odds guy on atl. I'm not sure exactly how many games each NBA team will play this year but 35.5 has to b better than .500 which in the east will b a playoff (elite) team I didn't say they were the heat. U gotta remember this season is short so 35.5 wins is prolly over 500

    Posted this on other Walter sites, so why not here. Last night in NBA, if you are able to get 3 team 8 point teasers(-110) You would have made out like a bandit!! All 12 UNDERDOGS teased up further with those 8 points COVERED!!!! That's 4 separate plays(three teams in each play) victorious! Would have been nice, huh???? GLTA.

    @Chad: Yea Walter having his problems this year, but scroll all the way up on this page and check out his last four years. For this year, I don't really know what his problem is,(maybe he was due for a suck year.) all I know is that for the previous 4 years he's been pretty damn good!! Good luck to you going forward.

    If you truly believe ATL is an elite team you should lay a bunch of money quick on their "regular season win total"....it's set at 35.5 right now meaning Vegas thinks otherwise and making it a great bet for you to take the over.....
