2013 NFL Draft Contest
The Sixth-Annual WalterFootball.com NFL Draft Contest
Go here for the WalterFootball.com NFL Draft Contest Results
If you're new to this site or haven't participated in our annual NFL Draft Contest, this is your chance to win some money - and all you have to do is make a 2013 NFL Mock Draft!
The rules are simple. Entry is free. If you make the most accurate 2013 NFL Mock Draft in our contest, you win $350.
1. Prizes
First place: $350
Second place: $75
Third place: $25
2. Scoring
How do we determine how accurate a mock draft is? Because there might be trades, we go by where EACH PLAYER IS SELECTED. TEAMS ARE NOT ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE SCORING OF THIS CONTEST.
You earn:
Five points for getting a pick right
Four points for being off by one pick (i.e. saying Lane Johnson goes 6th but he really goes 7th)
Three points for being off by two picks
Two points for being off by three picks
One point for being off by four picks
Zero points for being off by five or more picks
This is for the FIRST ROUND ONLY.
Whoever finishes with the most points wins.
3. Tie-breakers
The following questions must be answered:
1. On which pick will the first trade occur?*
2. How long will the first round last?
* - This refers to DRAFT-DAY trades. So, any trades made prior to the start of the draft at 8 p.m. do not count.
4. Prize Options
Checks, money orders or Paypal. I AM NOT SENDING CASH in an envelope.
5. Number of Entries
You are limited to only ONE entry. If we find that there are two entries from the same IP address, you will be disqualified. Please notify us if there are any IP address issues ahead of time.
All employees of Walter Football Inc. may enter the contest, but will not be eligible for prize money. In the event an employee wins, the next qualifiers would move up a spot (i.e. if a WF employee finishes 2nd, 3rd place will move up to 2nd, and 4th place would then move up to 3rd place).
Entrants must provide a valid e-mail address in order to be eligible or receive any prize.
6. Changes to Your Entry
You can change your entry as many times as you want. You may include write-ups if you wish. Your 2013 NFL Mock Draft entry may be posted in the 2013 NFL Mock Draft Database.
You may make changes until 15 minutes before the 2013 NFL Draft begins. Once it's 7:45 p.m. EDT on Thursday, April 25, 2013, entries will be locked.
7. Where Can I Enter?
Like last year, we will be running the contest on our sister site, DraftDebacled.com. We've improved our hosting, so there won't be any problems like last April. However, this will be the final year of DraftDebacled.com. All contests will be on this Web site after the 2013 NFL Draft.

For the last time, the Rams are passing on Tavon Austin if he's there and will select a WR with either their 22nd or 46th pick. The Rams don't need a slot receiver. Austin Pettis and Jared Cook will split that role.

There are random numbers of votes on each selection so it really is pointless.

Brown vs Hunter...damn I'd hate to be choosing between them IRL. But I believe Hunter provides more value to the team. Brown will be good but hopefully we can get Riddick later to be the last piece of a VERY good looking front seven.

Very few people were silly enough to drop Te'o into round 2.
Walter dropped him to 52, which is an absolute pipe dream for the Vikings.

tank carradine is a le, denver needs a re...plus hes coming off an injury....champ and the rest of the db's looked like garbage against the ravens...trufant is a #1 caliber cb with upside that will be fortunate enuff to learn behind champ for a year or 2....you could get a r.e. like lemonier or moore round 2

I think the Broncos should have a trade down option. Heck, they traded out of the first last year. Could easily do it this year.
