Stumbled across "Quan" on Twitter today. Thought "Hey I remember him being decent on Walt's board." Tailed his picks today. Big mistake. If anyone comes across him, don't bother. Must've lost his mojo. Down a looooot today.
It's nice to have a draft order set and the Senior Bowl behind us (other all-star games, too, I suppose). The combine is the other big event of the offseason, so we really are halfway to the draft. Sort of.
Summary: Barton is an extremely gifted scorer when attacking the basket, and his length serves him well defensively and on the glass. However, at 170 pounds, handling the physicality of the pro game is his biggest obstacle in transitioning to the NBA. Because of that concern, he will likely be a late first/early second-round selection.
Player Comparison: Corey Brewer. Like Brewer, Barton is a long, athletic, slashing wing who entered the league needing to add muscle to thin skinny frames. Neither guy shoots the ball efficiently from the outside, but both excel in the open floor.
