Summary: Matt Howard is a great college basketball player, but his skills do not necessarily translate to the next level. Still, he could get looks at the next level due to his intangibles, and actually make a roster thanks to the energy he brings. More than likely, he goes undrafted, but a team could take a second-round flier.
Player Comparison: Eduardo Najera. How does Najera still have a role in the NBA? Because he brings the same intangibles to the floor that Howard does at the college level. If Howard gets his chance in the league, he will have to follow the same path of the Najeras, Brian Cardinals, Brian Scalabrines and Mark Madsens of the world by working his tail off.
@Anonymous Well, Justin Gilbert failed for the Steelers, The Browns got a 6th rounder for a guy they were going to cut anyway. Another win for the new Browns front office & the youngest team in NFL. Jamar Taylor BTW, we got him for switching 5 spots in 5th round- so FREE- It's okay, you'll get used to it..
