2015-16 Team Salary: Approximately $39.3 million

NBA Offseason Team Needs:

1. Power Forward: Paul Millsap has played himself into a monster payday this offseason. The Hawks should have plenty of competitors trying to lure the unrestricted free agent away from Atlanta. The Hawks will need to open up their wallets to keep Millsap around, but if he heads elsewhere, finding a replacement becomes priority No.1 for Atlanta.

2. Small Forward: Like Millsap, DeMarre Carroll is about to get paid. Carroll has become one of the better glue guys in the NBA thanks to his versatility on both ends of the floor. He is due a significant pay raise this summer from the $2.5 million he made this past season. Carroll too should receive a ton of interest from other teams around the NBA, so Atlanta must either write him a big check or look elsewhere for a starting small forward.

3. Bench Scoring: Besides Dennis Schroeder and Mike Scott, the Hawks lack any real bench scoring. They should look to add a perimeter scorer who can provide some offensive firepower and might need a big man if restricted Petro Antic signs elsewhere.
