2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Rankings: Small Forwards 1-20 | SFs 21-40

  1. Caron Butler, Mavericks
The Matrix continues to see his fantasy worth take a nosedive. In his first year in Dallas, he suffered his worst statistical season since his rookie year. Do not expect anything more from Marion this year.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 11.0 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, 1.00 spg, 5 3PTM, 51.0 FG%, 78.5 FT%

  2. Kelenna Azubuike, Knicks
Assuming Azubuike is fully recovered from a knee injury that cost him almost all of last season, he should be a solid fantasy player in a high tempo offense. He will be the Knicks’ top option off the bench at the two and three and could eventually make his way into the starting line-up. There is definite sleep potential here.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 12.0 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, .75 spg, .75 bpg, 85 3PTM, 47.5 FG%, 77.0 FT%

  3. Reggie Williams, Warriors
Williams made the most of his opportunity last season with the Warriors. He will be used off the bench behind Wright but will still see his minutes. It is really a coin flip between the two but I would lean towards Williams based off his production with the team last year.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 11.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2.5 apg, .75 spg, .75 bpg, 70 3PTM, 47.0 FG%, 85.0 FT%

  4. Dorrell Wright, Warriors
It looks like Wright has won the starting small forward job from Reggie Williams. Both will get their minutes and have fantasy value playing in the Warriors up-tempo offense.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 10.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.5 apg, .75 spg, 85 3PTM, 44.5 FG%, 85.0 FT%

  5. Marvin Williams, Hawks
With the addition of Jamal Crawford, Williams took a major step back last season as he saw his playing time decrease. The Hawks pretty much have the same roster from a year ago so expect similar production from Williams.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 10.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 1.5 apg, .75 spg, 50 3PTM, 45.0 FG%, 82.5 FT%

  6. Ron Artest, Lakers
At this point of his career, Artest’s role is more of a defensive agitator than someone who is counted on to score points. He accepted his role with the Lakers season which does not translate well to his fantasy value especially since his shooting percentages are usually pretty awful.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 10.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.5 spg, 100 3PTM, 42.0 FG%, 70.5 FT%

  7. Shane Battier, Rockets
An incredible glue guy in the NBA but not an extremely valuable fantasy player, Battier will get you three-pointers, steals, and blocks, but not much else.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 7.5 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.5 apg, .75 spg, 1.00 bpg, 95 3PTM, 41.5 FG%, 74.0 FT%

  8. Richard Jefferson, Spurs
I cannot believe the contract he received this summer. RJ got lost in the shuffle from an offensive standpoint in San Antonio but still has some value.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 11.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 1.5 apg, .75 spg, 50 3PTM, 45.5 FG%, 78.0 FT%

  9. Omri Casspi, Kings
Casspi had an impressive, albeit up-and-down rookie season. He figures to compete with Donte Greene at the three and really should be nothing than a late round flyer in deep leagues.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 10.0 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, .75 spg, 70 3PTM, 44.0 FG%, 70.0 FT%

  10. Donte Greene, Kings
Things started to click last season for Greene who started 50 games with the Kings. He spent some time at the two last season but with Francisco Garcia and Omri Casspi, his minutes are a bit of a question mark.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 9.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg, .50 spg, 85 3PTM, 43.0 FG%, 76.0 FT%

  11. Josh Howard, Wizards
Howard is coming off an ACL injury and will not be ready for the start of the season. If you have a deep roster or an injured spot, Howard might be worth a late round flyer. If not, keep an eye out for when he returns as a possible free agent pick-up. Don’t put too much value on him though as it will take some time for Howard to get back to 100%.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 10.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.0 apg, .75 spg, 45 3PTM, 42.5 FG%, 76.5 FT%

  12. C.J. Miles, Jazz
Miles figures to compete with Raja Bell and rookie Gordon Hayward for the minutes on the wing left behind by Wesley Matthews and Kyle Korver.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 10.5 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.5 apg, 1.00 spg, 85 3PTM, 44.5 FG%, 73.0 FT%

  13. Carlos Delfino, Bucks
Delfino has a nice return to the NBA last season in Milwaukee but with the additions of Corey Maggette and Chris Douglas-Roberts, his playing time likely takes a hit as he will now come off the bench.’

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 10.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.00 spg, 105 3PTM, 41.0 FG%, 77.5 FT%

  14. Jamario Moon, Cavaliers
Moon receives the dubious honor of replacing LeBron James in Cleveland’s starting line-up. He should see his minutes as the Cavs do not have a lot of depth at the three and has some late round sleeper potential.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 9.0 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.00 spg, .75 spg, 55 3PTM, 45.0 FG%, 81.0 FT%

  15. Mike Dunleavy, Pacers
Dunleavy is coming off a year filled with struggles but could actually be the Pacers starting two guard. There is a lot of competition on the wing in Indy and the Pacers finally have a franchise point guard, but being in a contract year and healthy, Dunleavy could have a bounce back year.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 9.5 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.5 apg, .75 spg, 70 3PTM, 43.5 FG%, 83.5 FT%

  16. Grant Hill, Suns
Hill’s still plugging away and will likely still start for the Suns. However, the additions of Turkoglu and Childress, and development of Jared Dudley and Earl Clark will almost certainly cut into his playing time and fantasy productivity.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 9.5 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 2.0 apg, .75 spg, 30 3PTM, 48.0 FG%, 80.0 FT%

  17. Travis Outlaw, Nets
Still cannot believe the contract he received from the Nets this off-season He probably begins the season as the Nets starting small forward but I expect Terrence Williams and Damion James to cut into his minutes as the season goes on.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 9.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg, .75 spg, 60 3PTM, 43.0 FG%, 77.0 FT%

  18. Al Thornton, Wizards
It appears the Wizards will be going with a three guard look comprising of John Wall, Gilbert Arenas, and Kirk Hinrich. Nick Young will take minutes from Thornton and he will see even less playing time once Josh Howard returns from injury.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 8.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg, .50 spg, 10 3PTM, 45.5 FG%, 71.5 FT%

  19. Austin Daye, Pistons
Sleeper alert. With Tayshaun Prince in the final year of his contract, Jonas Jerebko injured, and T-Mac probably not much of a factor, the Pistons could give Daye more minutes in hopes of hurrying along his development.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 7.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg, .50 spg, .75 bpg, 50 3PTM, 45.5 FG%, 83.0 FT%

  20. Gordon Hayward, Jazz
Hayward’s versatility makes him a big time late round sleeper in deep leagues or keeper leagues.

    Projected 2010-11 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 7.5 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.5 apg, .75 spg, 60 3PTM, 42.5 FG%, 81.0 FT%
