Houston Rockets Get: 12th pick in 2012 NBA Draft, G-Shaun Livingston, PF-Jon Leuer, F/C-Jon Brockman Minnesota Timberwolves Get: 14th pick in 2012 NBA Draft, C-Samuel Dalembert
Why this makes sense for Houston:
GM Daryl Morey continues to stockpile assets, moving up two spots so they now own the 12th, 16th, and 18th picks. The Rockets likely aren't done dealing yet as they will try and trade up again in hopes of potentially landing Dwight Howard. Leuer and Brockman add depth inside in case Luis Scola ends up being traded. Livingston provides needed depth on the wing to help replace Chase Budinger who was dealt to Minnesota yesterday.
Why this makes sense for Milwaukee:
The Bucks have a need for a true big man since dealing Andrew Bogut. They find a temporary replacement in Dalembert who will be entering the final year of his contract. Milwaukee doesn't really give up any key pieces and only moves down two spots in the 2012 NBA Draft. Expect the Bucks to now focus on adding a wing player with the 14th pick; specifically Washington's Terrence Ross if he's still on the board.
Rockies and Diamondbacks fail yesterday, at least the Astros and Nats came through. For today: Closing two pars with Red Sox-178 in one and Nats -+169 in the other. In another ongoing par going in the second tier spot of a four team par will be the Astros -205. Start up par with the Dodgers -163, (Kershaw), two open. Still thinking about the Yankees in a start up. GLTA today.
@Bear Down He didn't do a horrible job even if Mitch doesn't pan out, I do believe Shaheen is going to be a monster TE for the Bears for quite a while. However Adams wouldve raised the level of the defense but Demps is a decent player and a veteran which might be just what this young secondary needs.
