Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Browns: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

I'm not 100% sold on Darnold as the no.1 QB in this draft but from the reports and all of the "expert" opinions it looks like Darnold is a lock at one unless something dramatic happens.
NFL comparison: Phillip Rivers

2. Bills: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

Buffalo trades up here with the Giants giving up a slew of draft picks to get their potential franchise QB in Josh Allen. Allen despite all the negativity surrounding his game the only flaw I see is his accuracy he has all the other tools. NFL comparison: Ben Roethlisberger

3. Jets: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

My no.1 ranked QB in this draft goes 3 to the Jets I think it's a great fit for Rosen and the Jets. Jets who have made some very nice moves in free agency and now hope to lock in a franchise QB.
NFL comparison: Matt Ryan

4. Browns: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

This is a pick Cleveland has to make I know Barkley is still on the board but you have Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson and Tyrod is a very good mobile QB they don't need help in the running game they do need it in the secondary. NFL comparison: Malcom Jenkins

5. Broncos: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

Case Keenum will suck next year if they don't fix the offensive line fix it protect the QB and maybe contend for a playoff spot.

6. Colts: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

If they take Barkley both him and Luck will probably be done by week 7 with the way the offensive line played last year. Give Luck a defense maybe he'll take the team into the playoffs.
NFL comparison: Chandler Jones/Cam Jordan

7. Buccaneers: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Tampa has 3/5 of an oline which is more than the Colts can say but I think having Marpet, Jensen and Dotson is good enough to open up running lanes for Barkley. Tampa gets a steal here with the best player in this draft
NFL comparison: Ladainian Tomlinson

8. Bears: Tremaine Edmunds, Outside Linebacker, Virginia Tech

This pick for Chicago is between Edmunds and Roquan Smith. I think with what Chicago already has at linebacker Edmunds is best suited for this defense than Smith is even though Smith is the better player just not the right fit for the Bears. NFL comparison: Brian Urlacher

9. 49ers: Roquan Smith, Outside Linebacker, Georgia

Roquan Smith next to Reuben Foster (hopefully) 49ers have the best young LBs in the league and with Sherman, Buckner, Tart, Armstead and Thomas along with Ahkello Witherspoon the 49ers have a promising defense for 2018. NFL comparison: Lavonte David/Telvin Smith

10. Raiders: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

It pains me as a Packer fan to see Denzel Ward be picked here at 10 but this is pick that the Raiders need to make after all the losses they have had a CB this offseason.
NFL comparison: Chris Harris Jr

11. Cardinals: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

Cardinals jump the Giants just in case the Giants decide to take their future QB. Mayfield is a very talented QB but the system he played in at Oklahoma and with playing in the Big 12 he was allowed to put up numbers similar to Colt McCoy, Johnny Manziel and Brandon Weeden who all thrived in the Big 12 and all sucked in the NFL which is why I'm not sold on Baker. NFL comparison: Case Keenum

12. Giants: Connor Williams, Offensive Tackle, Texas

Connor Williams wasn't at his best in 2017 but if you flip his 2016 and 2017 season he is a lock to Denver at 5 hell maybe he is the replacement for Joe Thomas at 4 to the Browns.
NFL comparison: Jake Matthews

13. Redskins: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

With the trade of Su'a Cravens and the lack of depth in the secondary they need Derwin James to fill out the back end of the defense. Washington has a lot of question marks on this team hopefully by years end safety isn't one of them. NFL comparison: Eric Berry

14. Packers: Joshua Jackson, Cornerback, Iowa

6'1 version of Brent Grimes

15. Dolphins: Rashaan Evans, Inside Linebacker, Alabama

Idk who to give to the dolphins all I know is they don't have a defense so yeah they get Rashaan Evans.
NFL comparison: Lawrence Timmons

16. Ravens: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Outside of veteran WR Michael Crabtree the Baltimore Ravens don't have anything at the wide receiver position. Ravens need this pick desperately if they want a chance at the playoffs.
NFL comparison: Amari Cooper
